The SHEAR HAVOC I Caused Myself by Not Changing my Fuel Filter on a Regular Basis.. UGH!!!

I know you're happy to figure that out. It has happened to me by running my fuel tank low. All the particulate plugged the filter. Not a fan of plastic filters. I miss the old glass fuel filters. Hope you and Consuelo are well.

Use replace them all the time at beginning of the season. We use use coffee filters poor gas into equipment.

People over the years have ridiculed me for how I maintained my vehicles and my equipment saying it was overkill. But, all of my vehicles got 250,00 miles plus and when I sold them they were all running like new. My lawn equipment now are all over 10 years old and run like new. What do I do? I do a complete tune up including fuel filters every year, I grease my greasable fittings with every oil change, rotate my tires, change car oil every 5,000 miles and replace ALL car fluids every year! It works for me.

This is a part people never think to replace. Very important to replace every 30,000 miles....on any car.

$189 for a carb kit? That's nuts. I think I would buy 2 or more new carbs for that much.
