"I've done worse" Great tribute... I'm still butthurt about how underrated it is. Everyone's bickering over whether The Wire or The Sopranos is the best show without realizing The Shield snuck past both into first place.

I've seen this show probably 5 times from beginning to end, at first I loved vic, then as I watched it over and over I slowly started to hate him for all the things he did. Amazing show! R.I.P. Lem

Vic barely killed people in this series for a action drama show but his actions in every seen are so hard and controls each scene with such violent intent . He tortures and attacks so many people in this show that after rewatching it I realized he barely shoots people but yet he is so violent . His use of his surroundings and beatings are brutal , making dude drink mustard to puke , letting the dogs tear a suspect while he chills , making a dude lay on glass etc . Honestly I think he enjoys the pain he causes and keeping the criminal alive so he can control them by fear . He hurt a lot of people .

How I wish they do a rerun of The Shield just to show kids today what they have been missing.

I've been waiting to watch this video for a while, but wanted to avoid spoilers. I finished The Shield tonight. I have seen so many videos for shows over the year, all the time. This is one of my favorites! You capture all the best moments and so much emotion! Well done, added to favorites and left a like! :)

I got the deluxe DVD in 2009. I got up to the sixth to last episode but couldn’t watch for ten years as it was so intense. I finished it off last night. It’s a miracle I managed to avoid spoilers for as long as I did. They’ll never make telly like this ever again.

Vic Mackey - a corrupt black leather jacketed booted cop -- was always two steps ahead of the good cops who were on his tail. And he did it successfully for eight seasons! Love the way he outsmarted all the good cops and kept them at bay for so long! He did whatever he thought was needed to stay ahead. Good strategy. Vic is a tough and strong bad ass cop that projects the image of a "good" cop on the outside while he is a corrupt one on the inside. There was a scene where he killed a good cop, too! Dark man. Real dark plotlines. I like it alot. He killed the good cop because the good cop's investigation was causing rifts among his rogue cops and pitching them against each other. Mike Chiklis was awesome throughout this series! I watched it because of the great character Vic Mackey. There was also great acting, great plotlines, and Vic's bad ass black leathers(I would want for myself)! Vic Mackey rules!

I will say this until the day I die... Breaking Bad would not exist had it not been for The Shield. Breaking Bad is ultimately my favorite TV show of all time, but The Shield is right up there with it!

Man this is my favorite show of all time I remember every tuesday watching the shield. Vic Mackey was evil as fuck ,but he was also a really good person and cop but he was also a really terrible person he killed another cop and framed & killed suspects. The shield creator and executive producer Shawn Ryan. Kurt Sutter was a writer for the shield. Dam i miss the shield. 2002-2008

Well Shane saved vic a few trips to space mountain.

They could still bring it back, make a couple more episodes where Ronnie gets out of jail (somehow) and tracks Vic down to kill him, or the new mayor of Farmington decides to bring back a new strike team with Vic as an assistant but with no gun or police powers. Just some ideas, it's possible.

The Shield was one of the greatest TV shows of all time, and I don't usually even like cop shows.

It did not slowed at times. There is a thing called character development and pacing of the show, The details that they showed in a 44 minute show, you wont find it even a 1 hour show dude. The shield is probably one of the greatest cop shows out there. Its in fact the best. Right besides The Wire.

Greatest Show on TV ever. It set the stage for everything from breaking bad, to the walking dead. The Shield portrayed cops in a real light as dirty and clean as they really are.

this was the second best written show ever right behind breaking bad. the only reason breaking bad gets the nod is because there was less plot holes. a close third place is the wire.

Good actors but the story-line didn't match up..it was really terrible i just couldn't continue watching it. I think breaking bad is still better with a good story.
