The shipwreck of the Jan Van Ryswyck. Whirl Rocks. Farne Islands Dive site. 

Whirl Rocks is at the outer most part of the Farne Islands. 3 pinnacles that rise to just beneath the surface from the sea bed. It is hit by the full tidal flow of the north sea which make the water look like its boiling and sometimes creates whirlpools. Whirl rocks is also the resting place of many a shipwreck. one in particular is the Jan Van Ryswyck , an old steam cargo ship from the 1900's.
