Sam adds a slash of banter. Whilst we all miss Michael, Sam just needs time to get into his groove. Flying solo too much makes it a lot for you to carry.
Of course bring Sam into the frame! Like your unique views and opinions on the watch industry, always insightful and informative. I would like to see more individual watches and in-depth report, maybe on watches in your own stores lineup, exploring and explaining your ideas on your curations. We’re all here for the watches first and foremost. Thanks for sharing your content all these years!
Can you discuss the reasons why the Rolex Daytona was never a popular watch being almost impossible for Rolex to even give away up until Paul Newman's Daytona sold for over $17 million.
@TheoandHarris I’ve purchased my first Rolex Submariner a couple months back, and was able to get the opportunity at a Pepsi GMT from the same AD here in Staten Island. Yes, they are sitting on inventory. I’ll explain what was told to next time I see you at the next Zero meetup.
I met someone that worked for Watches of Switzerland and he said they had a safe full of stainless steel sports models. Every week they received subs and GMTs. Management would make the sales staff lie and say there is nothing for sale.
If you wanna counter flipper and screw over 2nd market, just make your product more accessible, not necessary affordable. If people can access the products then eventually the secondary market gonna die. Thats just my thought so far
5:09 I can confirm. The watches at the US Open in Pinehurst, NC were impressive. Of course, I was just schlepping around the sweltering golf course. What were you doing, sipping cocktails in an air conditioned suite, checking Instagram?
Definitely bring back Sam, Dad, and Michael…. You’re great on a soliloquy but you’re even better when you have a partner to bounce back n forth with. Keep pushing it, C!
I loved Michael and I loved/love Sam. everybody is different and there’s no reason for people to make Sam feel bad because he isn’t Michael. THATS WHAT MAKES HIM SO GOOD AND FUN , HES JUST THE BRO THAT IS GETTING INTO WATCHES SITTING NEXT TO CHRISTIAN WHO HAS BEEN HERE FOR A LOMG TIME. I think sam should come back in front of the camera.
@@ams914 Yeah, I didn't think it was going to be that long for a root beer, maybe a Pepsi, but I guess less root beers are manufactured or it took them that long to decide if they're going to throw me a bone or not
Been collecting and trading for 40 years now. Many years a member of NAWCC. Omega is absolutely one of the finest and most innovative watch makers in the world. Rolex is the least creative and, in fact, most trite watches since the year 2000. Sold many rolex over the years. They are a cliche for men that know nothing about watches. They also have despicable and manipulative sales techniques to try and keep the brand relative. I love fine watches so much that It is embarrassing to me that so many still devote so much time and attention to Rolex.
