North Korea is too based for the West. All the most powerful countries in the world tried to destroy them for the last 80 years for not bowing down and they are still standing! UNFAZED!
I will unproudly admit that I have a very short attention span and you kept me hooked the whole video, how you moved from chapter to chapter so swiftly was impressive. more of these videos please
They probably didn’t want to set a standard where it was possible to hire North Korean foreign workers because SANCTIONS and the funding of that regime.
It's a frustrating situation because their punishment of Han was on the basis of suspicion alone. There was no direct evidence showing that he funded the NK regime. Either way it's a shame because the kid was incredible talented and would've no doubt excelled in Europe!
this is my first video ive watched of you and im instantly hooked, i like how ur video essays arent too highly edited giving that raw feeling while also still upholding good quality.
It's a shame he was such a talent back then. I remember all the media hype around him as well. All because of where he was born and poxy politics. Juve should of fought harder for him
myanmar is not a powerhouse nation I am from Myanmar and have been following this national team and can confirm not a great football nation and chuckled when i heard the sentence but great video .keep up!
great video his story was realy sad he realy that bc of his country and the un he dint go greatness but it is good that he still got it. congrats on 100k and i liked 190th
it would have been so amazing to see him reach his full potential. i remember following his story and him signing to juve i was hoping to see the north korean on champions league nights someday, what a scene that would have been. so sad that things that are so far out of his control has taken his life away from him.
I’ve never been a huge football fan . (Probably because I support spurs and we don’t win anything 😂) but your channel has sparked a newly found interest in the beautiful game! Thank you D-Mac
Instead of focusing on one North Korean player I think it’s better for north Korea to focus on millions who’s life have been impacted by genocides and wars such as Palestine, Sudan, Ethiopia and Congo and many others
Your shorst have that special something. Glad to see your videos have it too. Also 10:30 I understand you. The UN needs to start getting their priorities straight.
Was his ceiling higher than Sonny's? If so, that is a damn shame. Those 3 years he disappeared stunted his development so he'll never reach his full potential, especially in NK
Great video mate. His story is very intresting but I don't think that your statement was very clever or realistic. You are right when you say, that the UN has bigger problems to solve and I am also sorry that Han's carrer didn't turn into something good. But the clubs that signed Han have bloods on their hand. Doesn't really matter if it broke the sanctions on North Korea or not because everyone knows that Han financed the North korean Government by playing outside North Korea. Which also means the teams he played for supported North Korea's Death camps.
Hey man! Appreciate the constructive feedback/perspective. My personal criticism of the UN's action stems from a lack of tangible evidence that his earnings were actually sent back to North Korea. His continual punishment was based on suspicion alone...but I should've provided WAY MORE context on this area which is 100% my bad! Will hope to make more compelling arguments for future videos!
Yeah so he held two public interviews in his career. One in his first season at Cagliari and a press conference was also held when he joined Perugia. After that his own government banned future interviews!
Yeah I'm surprised he didn't go down this route? Just Look at what Quincy Promes has accomplished at Spartak Moscow whilst also being prosecuted for drug charges and stabbing his cousin. Insane!
Han kwang song was a must buy in fifa 18 and when i did know he was in Cagliari i was so hype, is sad that he is relegated for life to play in a low level league as north korean league and no one can even watch it, also crazy how he was considered the north korean ronaldo but then his own country said "talent? Don't care, you gonna stay here rotting in an unkown league"
