Man.. I remember when I first started playing War Thunder way back when. There weren't any tanks yet and a small but decent selection of WWII planes from the main countries. At the time, people were pretty skeptical about an idea that this game would ever get developed to a point of having modern jet fighters, whole tech-trees of tanks and navies all in one game. Almost a decade later I can't believe how far this game has come. I kept playing it over those years and I have a blast every time even though it's practically a completely new game by now. The devs really deserve some recognition for sticking with their promises for so long. There's a hundred ways they could have given up or move to other projects. Well done lads!

One thing about phantoms - lack of cannons on the earlier phantoms was because it was designed as an interceptor, and most of those didn't have any such weaponry. Reintroduction of it came not for air-to-air dogfighting, but as ground support and (to a lesser extent) anti-helicopter armament.

Have you considered adding SAM's to protect players who have landed at friendly airfields in Air RB? The WW2 era AAA doesnt cut it against the jets, it would help the jet bombers re-arm substantially!

Gaijin you should make the Rooikat 76 and 105 more realistic. A vehicle made for rough terrain and sand is VERY slow in the game while being adequate in real life when going through sand etc.

I perceived a very good improvement in the questions answered on The Shooting Range. What changed, if something changed? Anyways, very welcome improvement and I'm enjoying this a lot more. Keep up the good work!

you should add a “be aware of the target” radio message. and split tier V+ into west Germany and east Germany. for aircraft.

I love that all nations in WT at top tier has something like F-4. Multirole fighter with great ordinance and top tech. It really makes top tier enjoyable, and balanced, keep it up Gaijin

does it is possible to add a function which will make it possible to play with several in only one plane for example a friends in the turret and another which pilot ? sorry for my english :)

Could you also ask the developers please, whether they could add an ai fighter (based on existing ai protocols) to patrol a kilometer/mile above each heavy bomber player in realistic battles? Also player could use some radio commands such as "patrol front/left/right/behind the bomber" and "engage locked on target/break off and return" as well as the attitude instruction "attack on contact/stay passive" in order to adjust the ai's behaviour to their current situation. An escort fighter would not only make it harder for fighter pilots to climb above the bomber just outside its defensive gun range. But it would also make bomber gameplay more interesting as the player would get a new tool, to try to manage and thereby prevent enemy attacks in advance

Idk if someone already wrote that but the ting with the hellicopter engine is that there is a option for manual engine control if you activate that it doesnt matter what game mode you are on you can turn your engine on and off as you like

my suggestions for vehicle and balance updates: -BV-238, F4U-1A (JP), and KV-1C 756r practically harder to obtain, mostly due to low tier gameplay ruined -KV-1 (ZiS-5) moved to 4.0, replaced by KV-1 mod. 1942 at 4.3 -NATO vs. Warsaw Pact matchmaking at top tier/postwar era in ground RB, or anything historically accurate, just ensure balance is kept. -P-47s getting an airspawn in Air RB -destruction of ground targets in Air RB should have more impact on ticket bleed (eg: light pillbox -150 tix), to make strategic victory somewhat easier, especially for Allies which spawn with a lot of bombers/attackers -Sweden fighting with the Western Allies in Air RB, not just against the Soviets, but against the Germans and Italians as well -Boom and Zoom video tutorial, especially for the P-51 and P-47, like your tutorial video on the Zero -national division matchup mechanics in Air RB, eg: pitting West and East Germany against each other, and Nationalist China vs. PLA Chinese I hope you see this and pass my proposal, I am greatly hoping for these changes to be implemented. I appreciate your efforts of listening to your playerbase by allowing our voices to be heard by simply commenting on your "the shooting range" series. much appreciated

I remember the time when in tank battles at some point a Capturezone D appeared. What happened to this feature of tank battles?

I’ve had this idea for a while where there is a BR level lower than 1.0. It would include vehicles that wouldn’t have proper cannons for an example the panzer 1, the sdkfz 222, the m2A2 or the T-40. There are some vehicles already in war thunder that would work for this but I would need some more added to truly expand on this idea. For implementing this idea there’s 2 main stream ways you could go about this, 1st you could have it as you start with this new lower tear or you could have it as a separate option. If I had to choose either option I would choose the second one. As I feel that some players want to get right into more proper tanks and it could be an opportunity to turn it into its own game mode. Also to everyone else reading this idea of mine any free back is appreciated!!

PLEASE folder the IPM1 with the M1 Abrams since I am near now to the M1A1 and the IPM1 is so similar and would help high tier grind. Loving the game too, having a ball in these times ^^

While looking forward to the Italian Navy, many sailors are hoping that we will soon be able to play enduring confrontation again. The otherwise much-loved game mode have had some performance issues, so we would love to hear from the Developers on any progress made on fixing this.

I think with the addition of more and better radar systems to the game, on the ground and in the air, it may be a good idea to have a tutorial on evading detection and the limitations of these devices. Especially if radar guided weaponry is ever going to be introduced

I wonder if you guys would consider adding some sort of scouting mechanism for mixed battles (maybe similar or maybe totally diferent from the active scouting for light tanks) to planes which were used for scouting and reconaissance in real life or maybe even for ones without any suspended armaments. For example the PBY-5 Catalina was used as a reconaissance plane in the pacific theatre. And wish you guys good Health!

Some little ideas -more diversities in the destroy message, like "helicopter destroyed", "tank destroyed" or "naval target destroyed" -bring back the old menu music from before patch 1.77 -if a vehicle was from another country, like Cuba, Finland, Romania, Canada, etc, you could put them all in the same tech tree. Say hi to the "Miscellanous Bias"!

Yup, I never thought you guys would never discuss the eerie similarities of Reggia Re 2000 series and the P47 thunderbolt.

I've found out that hull break is possible with any cannon depending on your target. Examples: the YaG-10 can be hull broken by the Sd.Kfz. 221 squeeze bore and the ASU-57 can hull break any light tank if it hits with AP. why does that happen?

Can you add to the game; When you are in a match can you add a Average BR for all the team players on both sides in the TAB Menu? I think it would just a simple way to compile what all of us just guess at in Air RB and this addition would be very helpful. Your team Average BR and the Enemy Team Average BR.

Attempt #5: Could we maybe expect the VTGS to get added for the German tech tree ? It’s a stealth leopard 1!

I play War Thunder from 2013 april. My name in the game is TrustJoker, in real life i am a pilot and aerospace engineer, i can say that i love this game and I play it every day, and for historical developers i have some ideas of vehicles that would be the best deal if they will be added to the game : Mig-23, Mig-25, F-14, F-15, Mig-29, F-22, F-35, Su-35, Sukhoi PAK FA T-57, T-90 Vladimir, M1A3, T-14 Armata. If you can add these vehicles in the game in the appropiate future, there will come many more playes, and you win my heart :) Good one and keep moving guys!

I think a good idea for top tier and the game in general is to look into adding a new game mode with pvp missions. For example the mission is a bomber intercept, there are a certain number of bombers that the opposing team has to intercept (there are escorts too, and if there is a lack of players, use ai) before the bombers destroy their intended targets. Once the bombers complete their mission, or are shot down, the game is over. And add a greater importance to completing the mission objective as opposed to just killing everyone. My proposal for this is to add the spawn point system. For example if you shoot down an aircraft or two but you die, you can respawn in a different aircraft. This imo will help give the mission objective greater importance. And just seems fun. And a big part of this especially for top tier is to add much bigger maps. This will enhance realism as well as possibilities for different kinds of missions. Whether it be an intercept, cas, or fighter sweep. There are endless possibilities of what you guys can do with this. Hopefully I was able to convey my idea well for people to understand, because in my mind it's complicated to write out.

You know, there should be a new game mode where you have to protect paratrooper transport aircraft from enemy fighters until they get to the drop zone, but unlike bomber protection, there would be a lot of AA, and the paratrooper transports would react to it in different ways.

Bruce, I've recently been grinding the Italian tree and it reminded me that I needed to ask you, could you adopt me?

Can you put a stat for power to rate ratio on the stat card for tanks, and weight and power to weight stats for aircraft on the stat card? These are very important to know.

Why do helicopters have a restricted angle that they can pitch and roll when close to the ground? I want to turn sharper without going into manual control, and I sometimes crash into rocks and trees because the helicopter wouldn't turn enough.

Suggestion: Pages of History about the Sturer Emil, or Dicker Max... Or both? :)

You should do a metal beasts segment on the Russian TU-4 heavy bomber. Ive always wondered how an american B-29, came to be in the soviet tech tree. I know the 2 nations weren't the best of friends during that era

Will there be a feature where we can test drive/fly/sail vehicles which we haven't unlocked yet? I mean like tanks we can't even research yet because they're too far into the tech tree. Some modern MBTs, in real life give the commander the possibility to bypass the gunner and shoot at a target and I was wondering if the developers are going to add this feature in the future.

Just wondering, what's up with Swedish repair costs? It seems that the land vehicles have twice the repair cost of equivalent vehicles of different nations. Edit: Not to mention the 15200 SL repair cost on the J21A-2, at 3.7!

Make it so in Realistic Tank battles the nations that fight each other are randomized sometimes (so we can have interesting engagements like USSR and Italy vs Germany and Britain

An Israeli tech tree would be really nice, we already have some few israeli vehicles in the game here and there, why not have a whole tech tree, that would be amazing I think, the videos are amazing and have to compliment the Gentleman who narrates these videos.
