@@addysaurus_gayii it has 500 combined horsepower less then the JU 288 and .50 cals are worse then the oneshot minengeschoss MG 151. It would be a JU 288 with a worse bomb load, worse gunners, worse top speed at exchange for better high altitute performance. We need the B-26 as a counterpart to the JU 288 and ME 264. It will be a balanced adition. Meanwhile it would not be balanced if germany was the only nation with usefull bombers.

If a shell hits a usually fixed part of a light vehicle ie transmission or engine which is mounted to the chassis rips the hull open where it hits as the armour has less give there
In simplified english If an extremely powerful gun (Example, the 152 mm guns of some Soviet TDs and the KV-2, etc) is used against an extremely weakly armored tank (Like the Hellcat and whatever), the impact of the shell is powerful enough to distort the hull of the tank due to the shockwave and impact force, thus creating a hull break Simplify it if you want
The camera angles and movment of the helis was really enjoyable to watch and lenin holding the ka52 looked really cool whoever tought of that needs a raise
Could you go into a bit of detail to explain how the damage system works in game? When a shell fragments after penetration, are there various sizes of the spalling and are they of different numerical value? Also are all the modules in the tank identical in the health points across all tanks? (modules like ammo and the forms it comes in, fuel tanks, engine etc) It seems like I'm asking too much, would it be better to dedicate a video on this topic? There was never an in depth video on the game's mechanics. This would help clear up many misconceptions in the game. Attempt 14

You guys really screwed up naval this patch.... The main reason I left World of Warships was the retarded fire mechanics. I'm tired of being set on fire every 5 to 10 seconds watching my crew melt like chocolate bars. This is very immersion breaking and unrealistic. Fire and Crewloss need a rework ASAP. not spending another dime on Naval as long as it is reminding me of what i hate the most about WOWS.
It would be super cool if light/utility helicopters had the ability to spot targets like light tanks, that way they could be more of a team player and do more on the battlefield.
Q: Why is the german mg 131 (13mm) so useless? The swedish 13.2 rips wings, the american 12.7 snipes pilots from afar, but the german 13mm only hits or doesn't do any damage but sparks. Why is this??
The Swedish 13.2’s have excellent high explosive amounts, similar to how German 20mm minegeshoss is so much better than most other 20mm, whereas the American 12.7’s have excellent accuracy and muzzle velocity, making aiming for the pilot and other weak components easier. The mg131 has the fire rate of the browning, but neither the accuracy of the browning or the raw explosive mass of the Swedish 13.2
my one gripe with Operation summer is that I'm such a dummy I forgot to get any tier 2 ships.... at least I'm a total tank and plane ace, so I am almost certain to get the Leo and the F11 :). I love the challenges so far, was able to get 16 kills earlier in one game for 6 deaths, having a full roster of BF109s* makes life so easy in this Operation. can I just add that the whole heli triathlon had some stellar flying by the Gaijin pilots! I actually missed most of what was said because I was so distracted by the synchronized flying they pulled off! :) And to anyone who sees the new Arado sea plane that is an reward for the Operation, if you play ships and think to yourself it looks familiar, it is because it is the decorative spotter plane on the Prinz Eugen and the Graf Spee. *lol, just got to the end, I don't think that that player has tried the BF109, the BF109 F4 with 15mm gunpods is the terror of the sky at BR 4.0
I have a question: could you add artillery settings or controls for some tanks that face combate indirectly like katkyusha or some vehicles that was designs for artillery like the japanese one that have proximity shells I forgot the name
Substentionaly flawed testing here. the Tiger would easily make 1st place alone by the fact that it has F&F Missiles that can essentialy oneshot anything thats on the ground. That aside it can also lock its missile onto enemy helicopters and is guaranteed to get a kill like that. Just shows again how the Head to Head testing of these vehicles completly ignores how these vehicles are actualy used in game.
Your current helicopter leveling system/RP Gains/Game modes are completely utter garbage. Without spending 50+$, the prospect of being able to grind to top tier helicopters is nearly impossible for a normal day to day person. You have literally made your game where even with a premium account, players cant actively gain enough silver lions, nor have the time to even research things actively to stay competitive. If you go years back to 2013, the CEO said the game would never hit this state. He lied. End game died.

4:42 It is so heartbreaking to hear that song in the shooting range but not in game anymore. As an old since-2013 player, this song really has an epic "good old time" feeling, when I was admiring my hard earned vehicle. I was unable to launch a match when that song was about to play. I waited 8 min for it to end before joining a game
I've been working on a project for the past year, I created historically accurate playlists that are filled with period accurate music with in-game and alternative in-game music for every country in War Thunder. I use them and it makes War Thunder so much better, I've been working hard on them and I'm looking into whether or not I can turn the Playlists into a mod. Hey Gaijin Can you please lower the BR of the B-17 and B-24 already? They were used from the early part of the war and routinely face Jets and higher level props. Every other nation now has heavy bombers in the 3-4 BR range that the US doesn't as they only have the Mitchell.
Will we see improved effects for rocket motors? Such as the Vikhr, which actually appears to have a spiraling trajectories in real life, observable through the Ka-50s camera system.
I wish they never added helicopters, there hard to balance and nearly impossible to grind ka50s shoot your Ah-1G way out of gun range so you cannot do anything about them in Heli battles

I think it would be really cool if you guys added a bomber escort game mode. You could have like 50 AI bombers being protected by player-controlled escort fighters and attacked by player controlled by interceptors. Success would be determined by the amount of bombs that hit their target and the amount of bombers that make it back. It would look super cool if it didn’t have player markers and used historical aircraft from a specific battle, like P-51Ds and P-47s protecting B-17s and B-24s from BF-109s and FW-190s, or BF-109s protecting HE-111s from Spitfires and Hurricanes. This is usually only possible in events or custom battles, but I think a lot of players would like playing it as an actual mission. Attempt #8
Can we see a performance correction on the Vikr ATGMs? Right now they are too strong, fast enough and with top range of 10km to beat anything else, from which I understand it is the Su-25s platform range, not the Ka-50/52s which should be around 7-8 km. We should also see tracking break on moving targets (which happens too rare) and performance losses in various conditions, like clouds, since the Vikr is optically guided and clouds have a nasty habit of blocking optical beams.
Hey gaijin! Are you considering updating air maps, so that the ground looks more smooth? At the moment, they are rather low-poly in places. On a sidenote, the pages of history keep on getting better and better! Thanks for the entertainment!
Why is it deemed unnecessary for air RB BR decompression? It does not work in practice as more competent players may exploit an undertiered vehicle. The Lightning is a perfect example of this. At 10.0, like most other supersonics without meta missiles, it is outclassed drastically. However, at 9.7 it is only rivalled by itself. Decompressing to 10.7 and BR locking 10.0s with 10.3s having a small chance for an uptier is the best solution. You will then have a nice BR bracket of supersonics without the meta missiles facing each other. Queue times are not an issue because there are already a lot of top tier players and it will be guaranteed that more players will flock to that BR bracket because they will know that they will be having fun.
