Vajrapani (Skt. Vajrapāṇi; Tib. ཕྱག་ན་རྡོ་རྗེ་, Chakna Dorje, Wyl. phyag na rdo rje) - one of the eight great bodhisattvas and lords of the three families. He represents the power of the buddhas and is usually depicted as blue in colour and holding a vajra. He is especially responsible for transmitting the tantras to the human realm, which is one explanation for his epithet 'Lord of Secrets' (Tib. གསང་བའི་བདག་པོ་, Wyl. gsang ba'i bdag po)[1]. The epithet is also glossed as indicating his role as the lord of the guhyakas, i.e. yakshas.

Sorry to be negative but the writing is tiny and hard to follow, just a little slower with larger print would be far more enjoyable, Hail Amitibha butsu 🙏
Psst, for those who might be interested, heed this tidbit.: Saraswati is the name of a river that -eons ago- dried up in the desert of Rajasthan. And it was on the banks of this river 'close in' that the ancient Seers wrote the Vedas. Beginning with the Rig veda, and (Arguably) ending with the Upanishads. Now here is where my humble insight comes in: the letter 'u" is a cognate of the Latin 'v'. Let"s follow with the syllable 'pani', and I derive 'Vajrapani'. Now each letter that follows the syllable 'shads' is of course 'Tibet'. Therefore have I linked the Bodhisattva Vajrapani with the Tibetan diaspora -and I might add- their subsequent Freedom from all forms of tyranny. Some may find the above specious, some might not. At any rate, 'mandalaka pitha Tara Upanishads' forms the beginning my morning practice/discipline. NAMASTE
