The plaintiff claims the defendant hired her to write and produce a skit for a fundraiser. However, the skit had been canceled, so the plaintiff is out money for a musician she hired and transportation costs and is suing. The defendant insists the plaintiff’s skit was not viable for the event, and they told her that.

A bunch of messy catty petty old ladies. My whole family pledged a sorority and I’ve never let them bully me into pledging. They all preach sisterhood and they behave this way.

I think the defendants were mean and spiteful not letting her skit to go on. Good or bad, she would have had done it. If it was cancelled they should’ve had the guts to say on Monday that it was cancelled instead of canceling it by shady word of mouth and hearsay. It’s obvious that the big kahuna defendant does not like the plaintiff, so her mother isn’t going to like her either.

^THIS. Cause I have a friend involved in the children’s ministry of her church and EVERY year, they put on a children’s event with bounce castles, games and food. And EVERY year, there is drama amongst the ministry leaders because either everyone wants to run the show or no one wants to complete the task that was assigned to them. 😅😅😅😅

I think thete is more behind this. Their pettiness and the defendant (head honcho as it were) mentioned that plaintiff had not sold tickets or paid for her own. That is what this was about. They wanted to punish her.

You know when the Defendant pulled out, she got the others to pull out as well. Especially when the Defendants constantly bring up that they don't really like the Plaintiff("she's spiteful" and "she can be very difficult, despite how innocent she tries to look"). The Plaintiff has no case, but the Defendants definitely exude that "Mean Girl energy"😂.

Sometimes it's just about the coming together and bonding those human connections which is the opposite of competing with and alienating your own community so the defendants can feel powerful. Knew that the plaintiff was out of gas in this case. But she should've been told that her skits was canceled well ahead of time. After all she didn't find out about the cancellation until she arrived at the event. That's bad business

WHAT? I don't agree with the judge, the defendants made a promise and then reneged on that promise, the defendant and her mother are nasty people, if they had 'cancelled' as from the Monday, then why didn't they tell her to her face. Therefore at the very least, they owe her for the trumpeter...
