@@mooncat.787 Of course! The Scouse folk are from the Liverpool area. Well known for their friendly banter, they take the piss out of anything and everyone, but it’s usually meant in a good way. The Mancs are from Manchester. They either support Man Utd or Man City. They don’t like each other, hate Liverpool, and don’t like anyone that doesn’t come from Manchester. 👍🏻

For anyone near loomies, this noise camera is a trial. If u can spare 30 mins after they are set-up, sit underneath a camera and rev every time a car passes. The false positives will mean they scrap the scheme hopefully and the rest of the UK can benefit

A few years ago now, but I used to work on an old 900 Fireblade that had over 400,000 miles! The guy had owned it from nearly new. It was a but ropey around the edges cosmetically as it was used every day through the year rain or shine as it's his only transport. The engine had never been apart, and the only things he ever had done was general servicing and the usual wear and tear parts. But nothing that any other bike wouldn't need

Only just finished the vid but i still love longer vids, love the 44T Show and the new suits look sweet guys. Hopefully they stay crisp but as you say, if you dont crash, you aint trying. Not with the amount of time you spend on track. Gonna be a great year. All the best.

Good to see you guys back. Cheered me up. My beef with code is what if you’re on a bike, push or motor, and turning right. You have to wait for a pedestrian to cross at junction and get rear ended in a city when anyone sensible would give them a wide berth and exit the danger zone.

i used to have MCE because they were cheap (living in the less luxurious parts of london), but after chatting with a mate i checked the insurance and it literally covered nothing. there was a weird excess payback thing, but meant you essentially got back what you paid. and as soon as i realised i changed it to someone else, now with BeMoto and couldnt be happier

Great to see you guys back on with your light hearted yet informative show . I think that RU-vid needs to active in a fair consistent manner when removing videos. I have seen on YOUTube videos that seem to me that show dangerous and harmful content . These videos don’t get removed. I also think RU-vid need to radically improve their appeal procedure for seeing why content has been removed.

I've got a 2011Tiger 800, bought 4 years ago with 3k, its now on 111k and good as new (with the exception of a 400ml oil burn every 1000 miles). 2 rectifiers replaced due to heated kit drawing max load from the stator all the time and besides servicing that's about it.

The highway code has elements that are Law and you can be prosecuted for. Other elements are guides to road use which can fall under other elements of an offence. Modifications that are harmful would be anything that you would look at prosecuting for Likely to cause danger or injury to other road users etc.

In Spain any change done on a car or motorbike must be homologated (by paying fees and an engineer certificate ) in order to comply with the law and be able to pass the anual vehicle inspection. It makes no sense when most times you are improving the motorbikes (suspension, master cilinder…)

HWC changes As I understand it on a quiet road you can cycle two abreast and wherever you need to you can cycle down the middle of the road. Both rules are stupid you should cycle with courtesy to other road users rather than irritate them. And that is from a keen cyclist 7 + n1 and motorcyclist. Great to have you back Guys.

It’s so damn good too see you lads don them beautifully crafted wigs once again! On the topic of mileage, my first “big” bike was a CBR600F with 52,000 and by the time I’d wrapped it lovingly around a tree on a country lane 6years later, it was well into 75,000 and if I’m honest the closest It had to a service was me topping up the oil every other year 😂

What a caring owner :)) That bike woulda clocked 150K miles easily with regular maintenance. I sold a VFR 800 Vtech last year, with 232 000 kms! All it needed was regular oil/filter change, adjusting valves, a new generator, a couple of rectifiers, and a new clutch in this long run. Both top-en and bottom-end was untouched/factory and hasn't used any oil between 6K oil change intervals. This was a 2007 model, so modern bikes can go on almost forever, given they get their service on time, and don't get their necks ringed cold..
