I watched a documentary about these guys about 12 years ago. They had one scene that f**ked me up forever. The scene was so brutally explained. I couldn't sleep for months after hearing it. members of shower posse drowned two babies in front of the mom/dad & the story was told first hand from the police officer that walked into the room to find it. He thought they were two small dolls on the kitchen counter, not realizing that someone had held both children under the water until they died, pulled them out & put them on the counter right in front of the mom/dad who were tied up & brutally murdered soon after the shower posse drowned those babies. TO THIS DAY, It was one of the most horrific things I ever heard.

I’m from Miami born and raised. I grew up in Opa-Locka area. The triangle, liberty city area and over town were its own entity. This gang never was talked about like that. The Columbians were the main connection. Anyone not from around those areas weren’t running or controlling nothing. Miami has always been segregated. No outsiders weren’t even allowed in certain territories like that.

Believe it or not before politics Jamaica was a pretty safe place. I have heard from older people that you used to be able to build your house and have the whole back open without doors for months.

I didn’t know that British colonized Jamaica too, but I knew they did with Haiti. I learned this about Haiti after finding out that I have Haitian roots, but I’m from America. My dad was born in Haiti. My dad is Haitian. My grandma is Haitian. My aunt is Haitian I don’t know the language very well, but I do know the history because I studied it to get to know what was going on once I even knew what Haiti was all I knew was Jamaica. I knew nothing about Haiti so this is interesting. What is with the British colonize the Caribbean areas

Any documentary about Jamaica should start with the legacy of enslavement and colonization which is the root cause of maintained poverty and division. Add to the mix corporate control of the profits from tourism and natural resources, and corruption and greed in politics. Tell the whole story.

Besides sugar cane, I really couldn't tell you what made the British take a liking to the country. In the 60s, they left Jamaica poor and broke. Then they came back in a different outfit to once again leave the country poor and broke.

When the British conquered the spanish who had colonised Jamaica, the Spaniards fled and left the enslaved people there. Black originated in mother Africa, that is where they belongs.The original natives if Jamaica were Arawacks and Tanio Indians So it is nonsense you are speaking.

I’m from Miami and was involved in the streets pretty deep to say the least. I don’t ever remember shower posse running anything in Miami. Zoe pounds control their own areas but that’s about it. You had booby boys and John Does back in the day too. That’s about it as far as black organizations.

They were getting locked up and deported in the 90s. Shower Posse roots are really in the 70s, gained power and spread through the 80s, and died down a lot by the mid 90s. The remaining powers coasted until Dudus got locked. It's not really a thing anymore.
I lived in LA from 1997-2004 and during that time I went up to Bakersfield about once a month maybe twice and I would stay over by UC Bakersfield and I seen some hot chicks there. I was staying at a hotel in that area and when I went out to dinner I would see some smoking hot chicks around. I don’t know if things had changed since then but I have to say Bakersfield was all right back then. Don’t get it twisted it definitely wasn’t LA or anything close to it because LA has some of the hottest females in the world. Mostly all of them are from somewhere else but that’s were a lot of them meet. I’ve lived all over the world and besides LA Montreal, Canada had some of the hottest women on the planet. Vancouver BC did also. The Canadians got something in that maple syrup that produces these smoking hot chicks. NYC of course became its like a LA. But Norway and Sweden had some of the hottest women I’ve ever seen. There were so many of them it was insane. If you like blonde hair,blue eyes,smoking hot bodies and they are not stuck up or think that they are better than you because they are beautiful then Scandinavia is the spot. It’s expensive to live there but if that’s what you get it’s worth it lol. When I lived there in the mid 90’s they had a TGI Fridays in downtown Oslo,the capital of Norway. During that time Europe didn’t have a bunch of American restaurants like they do now. They had McDonalds and shit like that. But in the states at TGI Fridays a cheeseburger with fries and 2 beers ,that’s what I would always order,would be about $20. In Oslo I paid $56 for it. The taxes there are very high but it’s a cool place. Medical is taken care of,schooling is taken care of. It’s crazy because most of my friends there had 2-3 masters degrees,it was insane. Anyway I know that I went of on a rant but I’m baked and got carried away.
