Please educate yourself more on these podcasters. They portray self hate period, not only to black women but to their ethnicities and race. Watch the full video before broadcasting!
@Olly-Wang but they wouldn't care if it wasn't their main demographic being upset. And since it's their main audience getting upset, the bag would be effected if they didn't address this
Exactly the apology was given because they realize that this Hitler look alike was laughing at them and not with them they fell for the okie dokie because they did not do their research about this man but as for black American women who are critical thinkers we don't care we know for a fact that all same skin folk ain't Kinfolk and we also know that there is an anti Black Agenda worldwide why do you think that their motherland Europe or England whitewash Jesus Christ they're just descendants of brainwashing who encourages them to punch down on even their own black mother I did not know who puma and Timon was before this mess happened!
Seriously, I watch them a lot and I'm definitely not there for protection. Not expecting it, so not surprised that if they do things that may be harmful to us. Let's stop trying to act like we are close to people we only know from edited clips online.
I think that it’s a bit hypocritical to say that you went to the show support for Black people and then you laugh when they’re talking about Black people in a demeaning way
lol everyone and their mama want to be crying over this, I’m still going to watch them. These 2 brothers have never really indicated that they like black women, sexual. And if my statement is true, who tf cares, that’s their choice. Sh*****t when I first started watching them, I thought James was gay because of the sus things that came out his mouth. I don’t think what they said was offensive, they just said they didn’t find the girls in Atlanta that attractive, which was more of a preference statement. They never said they found BW ugly, those girls weren’t for them. Okay… whatever, I’m moving on with the rest of my day.
It is interesting that you brought up Aba and Preach because I would actually say that they 'protect' black women. They often defend black women against other black men and racist people on their channel. The protect is not about para social relationshisp. The women online are talking about this general conversation of bw feeling that bm often throw bw under the bus for racist people.
True but they still do not take on this 'duty' to protect. So when a bw says something they think is wrong they can go at them equally. Shxtsngigs cannot do that now after all of this.
Thank youuuu. Ppl got in their feelings. Even James backed up black women and still laughed at the joke. Also, you can visit NewYork, Atlanta, Paris, London over a weekend and not find baddies, it depends on where you went to and your personal experience. That doesn’t mean there aren’t fine women in those places, your experience isn’t a collective experience of ppl who live there it’s just yours. Ppl get to offended these days.
I thought I was the only one who heard that 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ he actually said something to negate the statement, twice before laughing. And they did mention how Andrew said a lot of stuff, most people will not even try to watch the whole clip.
People need to stop being overly sensitive. They didn't see any baddies, that's it. Their taste not yours. You don't think they're cute, that's your taste. They've been saying sketchy shit from time ago. If all was to be accounted for, LGBT, black, white, everyone would be up in arms. Why are people being selective of people's opinions? Not every joke will land but we move.... PS: I don't think that girl cute either…shoot me!
Per that apology, they will be walking on eggshells henceforth. They will be scrutinised in the context of their 'vow to protect'. Balancing kindness and assertiveness is what has made Aba & Preach bulletproof to this kind of bullying.
The duty to protect you guys, there is a notion that once you have the clout, especially as a black person, it’s your responsibility to stand up for all black people because you have the platform to make a change. Just a few days ago, people were coming for the Barcelona player, Lamine Yamal because he refused to address some racist comment.
Makes sense. It's just too much pressure, especially for content creators. I knew it was crazy when I saw some people saying Martin Luther King's achievements didn't matter because he was unfaithful to his wife lol
Looks like Matt Riffe 2.0, and it's getting boring. Women really need to stop getting attached to internet personalities. Nobody on the Internet owes you anything, just enjoy the entertainment and move on..Jeez
True but then don’t cry cancelled when the fans opt out of supporting you.. Celebrities cry cancel culture when the fans no longer want to give them money all the time. So if they owe fans nothing then they are also owed nothing.
Just want to clarify, racism has no place in any society, but if you genuinely laugh at something, no matter what it is, about anything, then you own that laugh, explain why you're laughing, don't be a coward. Everyone is different and have different tastes. And the comedy we choose to like is different for everyone also. Just don't backtrack. Own it. That's all i was trying to say previously.
This was a great take. Eapecially the comparison to aba and preach. I feel like most of the people who are in uproar have never watched a flagrant podcast. Their whole M.O. is saying the most outlandish things which is what makes Andrews, Akash, and Marks comedy so good.
people don't know how to take a joke anymore, you don't need to like it or find it funny, you can just realize that particular comedian is not for you maybe. Nowadays, people are just looking to be offended by everything, it's that so annoying victim culture at it's peek ridiculousness, why? just switch the damn channel, no need to make an issue about everything that makes you a tad uncomfortable.
@@_Lesplay glad you mentioned them. They speak their mind and also provide other perspectives. They are the one youtubers I love watching cause I always learn something or see things differently
If you listen very carefully to James and Fard from the beginning, you can tell that they preference all white European women I never was in the camp of them, preferring black women or loving black women if you listen to them who do they call pang and lang
@@swdupree1 First of all it's peng and leng not pang or lang, secondly where do you Americans come up with these conclusions? You are not from the UK because if you were you'd know that most Black men in the UK date Black women or lightskin at most because of the large cultural gap between Blacks and whites in the UK but you wouldn't know that. You don't live here you Americans love to conclude on shit you don't know🤦🏾♂️🙄
They may hate black women but the clip isn't the proof. James did say white men get their looks together when with black women before he started laughing. They probably didn't know what to say to that except laugh. There have been times like that when I just laughed to move on. At least they came out to say something. They don't need to be our safe space. They are men who we don't really know. You have no idea what they are like in real life, let's just enjoy the laughs and walk away. That's why I love Aba and Preach, they aren't even trying to please anyone. I learned a lot from them: first that I don't need to agree with you on much to like you, they are funny 😂 Aba is always trying to play devil's advocate and the floor is it's own character, who cares what they really believe, it's content
Great video! Ive only watched a few clips of these guys in the past, so its nice to see a summary of this situation. The only thing they did wrong was apologize. Theyre basically rewarding that really whiny, vocal minority of their fanbase and now those annoying people are gonna start going after them for even more pointless stuff. People are way too invested in who two random dudes from the internet find attractive.
People are overreacting. And inversely becoming the hateful ones under the guise of defending black women. 😂😂😂The internet is wild. And humans will human. Every little ting, na offence.
so should i lie if i dont see any baddies. And those jokes were not even that bad. Thats what you get for being known as the good guys and when you are blinded by the money you make you apologize for everything.
I can barely bring myself to watching a full 1minute clip of these guys so it’s fitting I clicked on for tea from a guy who also doesn’t watch their stuff 😂😂😂
A heavier issue can arise if things aren’t nipped in the bud but I don’t think it’s offensive, harsh nor that deep. Some jokes are in fact too far or too much but I would not won’t to be around too sensitive of joke police! Some “inappropriate” “testy” jokes holds concerning beliefs and some don’t. & good god they don’t have to like Atlanta women nor black women. They laughed for sure, while they were in the middle of expressing positive affects of black women. I would’ve laughed too just like I’ve laughed when it’s about guys or other races. Now that specific down syndrome bit was too far. Shane even makes jokes about him being presumed of having Down syndrome but not in such a classless way
Yh sometimes dark jokes don't work and so they sound mean but that does not mean they were made with bad intentions. Shane Gillis himself makes a lot of dark jokes but he is good at it so it flys. But then people want to cancel comedy altogether and I'm like, please.
No but to co-sign the idea that the white men were being mistreated when the whole point of that movement was the white men posting how happy and cool they feel in their marriages. I’m black and my black wife absolutely glowed me up but internally.
