Despite Florida depending on tourism it has failed. From abandon hotels to crime in the neighborhoods This is a side of Orlando they won’t show you the “Real Orlando”. Exploring the real Streets documentary style.
Orlando is definitely an interesting place. My friend lives in Orlando still and another did live there until 2015. The grimier and more dangerous areas are not tourist . Drugs are a major problem.
Awesome content man! I do a lot of abandoned filming in Jacksonville. I'll have to come check out some of the stuff in Orlando here soon! That looks sweet. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for showing these sides of Orlando. I didn't know certain parts of Kissimmee was that bad. I have heard about Pine Hills and OBT areas having crime issues.
I am from Eatonville and at the 1:40 mark, that building looks to be in better shape than some of the motels on Orang Blossom Trail, International Drive and Church Street.
It's Orlando, where's Minney & Mickey? Maybe they're on the video cassette tape doing a special Magic Kingdom dance? Jose nice tour of the grittier side of Route 192 and Route 4 in the land of abandoned dreams. There are positive activities there, a flea market, Old Town USA, and some ethnic foods. Thanks. Have a good day!
I remember that motel at the 8:00 mark. It was a Hyatt. In 2003, I attended the Florida state French convention for high schoolers there. It ended up closing a few days later. It was a bit sad, as the news said many of the employees had been there since it opened (I believe in the 70s).
I went to prom at the big resort back in the late 80s... it actually was a Hyatt back in the day... 9-11 ushered in its demise.. then it reopened for a few years and then close again... They must be asking for stupid $$$ because it's in a good location just 2 miles to epcot, magic Kingdom and the studios and right off I4
Damn the hotel at 1:39 was where me and my wife had our first Valentine’s Day back in 2019 literally the first weekend we heard about COVID in China, it had really nice rooms at a low cost makes me sad. We stayed in room shown at 2:27
The hotel with the truck infront of it are squaters. They called the cops on me when me and my friends went to explore the place.( Dont worry though you wont get caught unless you do sum stupid like what we did) we peaked are heads at one of there powered buildings to see the exit signs aluminating and then the hallway lights turn on...we were in the top floor we ran down to see a lady get in her car and chase us.. we ran after that. There were like 5 cops waiting near the exit/enterance and when they caught us they explained that they the squatters called and the cops said they been trying to get them out but its conplicated. Probably cause of squaters rights they technically live there so they need to be evicted but they cant get ahold of Orlando Sun Resort and the cops cant treaspass you becauss there needs to be someone to enforce it like the owners and if they cant get ahold of the owners to treaspass you they let you go. Thats what this nice cop did. Warned us about the squatters and told us to find more safer places to explore. Oh and That building the squatters are staying in actually HAS power! It's the only building in the hotel that has power. I have no idea how but yeah if you come at night you can see the building lights. How they managed to turn the power on I have no idea.. me and my friends love exploring this hotel at night. We usually spend all night in it just going through the ball room and the giant rooms. We found the sweet and it's huge. We stay there all night messing around. Little scared to go peeking through the rooms but the main buildings are awesome at night with a flashlight.
Omg like where Walmart is the one off 192 in woods I was driving and there was sketchy like shack houses and a guy dressed as a clown was sitting on top of a shack ad waving to passing cars lolollllll. Totally bizarre and weird area!! It was halarious !!
Interesting video. You def should be careful walking around in the abandoned spots. I would think Orlando economy mainly service/tourism and these jobs dont pay well hence many poor / hood areas. Thanks for uploading.
I’ve been to the orlando sun resort 4 times and those cars have been there every time, same water drum on the back of the pickup, and they have a spotlight on the balcony, only thing with working power I’ve seen there and I’ve walked the whole property numerous times, the back area with the golf carts and water retention towers are very creepy
I know!! The same cars for years actually. It’s weird cuz we stayed there on our honeymoon in 1994 and the place was unbelievable but I remember there was only Pizza Hut for food after like 8 pm and they deliver the food to the rooms
You have to hit Mclaren circle/north Kissimmee when you want to see the hood in Kissimmee..also west Kissimmee the neighborhood not west 192…you have to go to the old roscoes obt/main street in Kissimmee..
Why don’t you just put a press sign in your windshield while out doing this type of stuff , also multiple people 3 or more with one in the truck with communications to you would also be a good idea 🤔🤔😀
that movie is truly eerie the only music in it is when the young mom lady is playign some rap bullshit in the pool and smoking a blunt after putting the kids to sleep lol i think the most tension relieving part is when the brazilians book the wrong castle hotel and then blame the cab driver.
Exploring abandoned hotels, thats a very Adam the Woo thing to do.You consider him a theme park vlogger, hes not a theme park vlogger,he does abandoned properties and movie filming locations,he dabbled in theme parks but even he realized hes not a good theme park vlogger and actually stopped doing theme park videos.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Tell that to Tim Tracker, the dude bought a half million dollar house drives a Tesla and goes to Hawaii every year putting theme park videos,he’s been putting videos for like 10 years or more so that makes him probably the most successful one but there’s like dozens of them and more show up every day,I see them at the parks. There’s even a Cuban girl who moved from Miami, her channel is called Super enthused, her name is Jackie
@@pdb2k154 True, there’s probably 20-30 who actually have a following big enough that allows them to bank serious money but there’s probably 200 who have aspirations to be in those 20-30
You shouldn't be eating that stuff, too much carbs and fats. I stay away from those ... I walk 5 miles daily and in my late 50's without shortness breath. I did growing up, but my mom changed our diet when I was about 8 yrs old...Thank God.
How come Elon Musk didnt buy some of these places and fix them up instead buying twitter here in America we praise these people who just straight out slapping us in the face when its so much other things they could be doing to fix America and make it more beautiful and a happier place to live!!!
