THANK YOU, THANK YOU so much for this wonderful and easy to follow updo tutorial I am a 68 yr old woman that has wanted to keep my hair long . But that can be challenging , make you look older instead of it being an asset. We had an event to attend that required "cocktail attire". I was fretting as to WHAT I was going to do with my hair. Knew I wanted to wear it up . But how to fix it, feel GOOD about it and it look elegant ?? I had no clue. Until I found your channel. Several people complimented my hair - asked where I had it "done" :) Told them to check out your channel!
Excellent tutorial, you explained so well I was able follow along with no problem. Thank you. Quick question can you do a tutorial on how you prep your hair for these amazing updoo's that you do? And what products you use? I'm a hair stylist and your curls and the volume you have in your hair before you start is absolutely beautiful.
Oh my goodness I am SO glad I found you! I used to have long hair and loved how much I could do with it, but about a year ago I cut all my hair off. I love love love my hair short but I was running out of ideas of what to do with my short hair and you just gave me so much inspiration! Keep up the hard work and I look forward to more awesome videos!
I've been meaning to comment for over a year. I did my hair like this for a semi-formal, lake-front, wedding. I'm not a big dancer, but keeping in mind what you said about it not being the most secure style, and being on the lake, I double pined everything, crossing the pins. My hair was about the length of yours, but had been thinning due to some medication I was on, and I was very self-conscious about that. With a little teasing, and doing the rolls in the back loosely, I was able to create an illusion of thicker hair. I received many compliments, and felt beautiful. I'm going to another wedding in a couple of days and plan to do this again. I will add that I usually found trying to put my hair up to be a disaster, but, after watching you 3 times, I got it right on the first try. I'm hoping last time wasn't just beginner's luck. Also, guess what? I'm on a different medication and my hair has thickened up quite a bit. Thank you so much for this clear, easy-to-follow, tutorial.
You make these styles look so easy. I have really thick, coarse hair, and I can’t use enough bobby pins to hold it in place. It’s so frustrating! Thanks for sharing, though. Your videos are really easy to follow. You’re a good teacher! 💕💕💕
You are so beautiful. Thx for sharing. I m so excited to do my hair like how u did it. I m learning so much from you. I love all ur video ‘s. Thank you. 👍👏👏💗 👏 great job!! 🙏👏👏
YOU'RE SO AWESOME!! I'M A STYLIST FRESH OUT OF SCHOOL AND I'M OVER HERE WITH MY JAW HANGING ON THE GROUND!! I'm so impressed with all of your updo's! I wish you had been one of my teachers at school! :D
Very pretty! Your hair is probably very different 2+ years later but the highlights are gorgeous. Clear instructions, easy technique. I sometimes flat iron my hair and will be sure to try this. Thanks! ;)
So, so cute!!! And you have such beautiful hair! Looking forward to see if I can attempt this with my long, curly...and very thick hair. I may have to make some modifications....
Thank you! You explain each step so well, and by demonstrating on yourself, rather than styling someone else's hair, you show us that this style CAN be done by oneself, in one's mirror, checking and rechecking as you go, and feeling each step. I have always wanted to do this type of style, rather than cut my hair (I love it longer, as does my husband!) I can even take this video to a stylist, to show her what I want, rather than trying to explain it, myself. Again, great tutorial, for a style I have always wanted to achieve!
Very nice , I like it very much, thank you gave me an idea of style for Easter. I found it by looking for a hairstyle for Easter and not find my type of hair that has your hair length. I get stressed out a lot and I finally found it. You deserve all the praise.
Nice job!! You might want to mount strategically placed angled mirrors or even adjustable to help see your beautiful creations!! Check hotels and salons for ideas!!
You are adorable and super classy. My Junior Recital is tomorrow and I'm definitely going to watch all of your videos to make the final decision on my hair! Thanks for sharing.
It looks beautiful. She's so skillful with styling hair, bobby pins, everything. I think it's really important to have some curl before starting, as she said. My hair is very straight. I haven't been able to curl it satisfactorily enough, or in the right way, to do this style. I've looked at a lot of updo videos and this is one of the easiest to follow, though. Hers and Milabu. I'll keep trying. 👍🏼
This is a "fav" video; since I have very long hair (mid-back), and it's very thick (yes, I'm blessed, but it's a lot of work), I really like the step-by-step instructions. I find most long-hair vids or fav-hairstyle vids go very fast. Since I'm very good w/my own hair, I usually end up making an entirely new style a bit different from the video. That said, thank you so much for giving me an easy way, besides the many hair pins I'll need, to do one of my all-time fav do's. BTW, to dress it up even further, I add pretty, glittery clips at the end; if colors match the outfit, even better! Thanks again!
I love the video. Thank you for making this a step by step easy to follow hair tutorials. I have hair right to the crack of my butt so I want to see if this will work LOL also, you remind me of Christina Applegate
So beautiful and I want to learn how to do some up to's. My mom used to have a beauty salan and I learned how to do a French twist, so I was inspired when I saw this video. My hair parts exactly like yours, same style, so maybe with practive I
god, you are so amazing, I have tried creating this look on myself atleast 10 times now and I still cant grasp it, I'd probably end up cutting my hair off even though there's no scissors involved xx
