Crazy how everyone forgets that the vast majority of these incidents occurred in the holster not designed for a 320, i.e. putting an Sig in a Glock holster? Or that the FBI Glocks were immediately “recalled”. All that said, I do prefer a manual safety on all my machines if possible, and just out of an abundance of caution I intend to get a manual safety added to the 320 I plan on getting.
@@soonerfrac4611 Yeah there’s a cop who made a video about holsters. A lot of the issues have to do with holsters for weapon lights. Safari-land holsters for weapon lights have an extra gap on the sig models. He shows how he can stick his whole finger in and pull the trigger. His department ended up switching to a different holster brand. There’s just a smaller margin for error on the 320’s. Sig probably should release an official trigger with a trigger blade safety.
My only problem with 6.8x51 is that it weighs 3x more than 5.56 meaning you can carry less ammo. But it's a great gun. I think they should have prioritized a lighter grenade launcher and issued it to everyone. If we're fighting china and they have millions of guys, grenades will make a way better impact than high-speed bullets. But hey, i'm just a dumb army intel retiree.
