It gives me joy that some people in this country will risk their long and healthy reputation for the real people who make this land what it is and for this debate it makes me want to spread this podcast as much as I can and I'm only 17 can't wait to vote and do my part
When I saw corn break $5 and continue rising, I knew we were screwed. Every business that partners with farmers, sits down, and calculates just exactly how much they can take from the American farmer, just short of breaking them. It did break a few, yet others timed purchases and marketing better and hit a windfall of money, mostly due to luck, but skill and experience played a part as well.
The Caitlin Clark situation is interesting and it just came out that she won't be on the Olympic team. I think there's definitely some jealousy mixed with rookie hazing going on, but you gotta put yourself in the other players shoes. Clark just got a HUGE (in WNBA terms) shoe contract from Nike + endorsements + etc. based mostly on being a fan favorite. She's made more money in a few months than a lot of the other players have made in their entire career. She's still a rookie and I don't think it's wrong to earn your stripes as long as it doesn't get out of hand.
I think it is nice that you speak your mind. I will never vote for Biden but I will not vote Trump. I will vote RFK. Democrats and Republicans politicians are the same thing.
Fuck that RFK has been sueing farmers and going after hog farms in particular for years! Apparently you've never seen the barn talk episode a couple months back that was all about RFK. 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕
Where would you go if you were to leave? Where can you speak against government without negative consequences? Where can you own firearms? Where can you go and pay less taxes while maintaining similar quality of life?
Ronald McDonald’s for president! Lol great episode as always guys. I’m alittle older then sawyer and I hope our generation is as passionate as we are.. it’s important as ever.
The problem is we have become too comfortable and indebted to the hilt. So, it has to get a lot worse before people are willing to grab their pitch forks. If they even remember where they put them.
I have a question, do you know your geography? Are you familiar with a place called Alberta. Hiw do you feel about AG, oil, gas , condensate, farming in such a vast and massive landspan, and have either of you been to Calgary Alberta, thanks guys
I love listening to you guys talk about anything but politics. I highly recommend listening to more credible news. Or at least fact checking your favorite news stations. You fellas seem like smart guys but you just stuck in that rw cult.
Insular communities that refuse to accept or adapt with change. They are surrounded by people who would cut them off for a lack of percieved beliefs political or religious. These are the same two guys who, when talking economics can only repeat "Supply & demand" and "Inflation" without understanding both beyond a napkin level of knowledge. Welcome to rural Americans. So glad I left but now these people have figured out what a compute can do.
Im looking into something that’s kinda showing itself to me. What would it take or who would it take for heavy liberal states like New Jersey to somehow sell beef and groceries in general in for a lot cheaper than red states? I think it’s happening after hearing people in different states debate over the economy by the comparison of grocery bills. Mainly the price of beef.

A little pushback here on the Trump trial. I think we should be careful here on where blame is attributed. To say the "opposing political party" is behind this is pretty blatantly misleading and paints this as a some form of large scale conspiracy. I think its fair to say that in this case we had a highly political, and biased, District Attorney decided to put numerous State resources into prosecuting a former President based largely on their political beliefs. It is gross misconduct for a State official to act in this way. And yes, I'll readily admit that the Democrats were chomping at the bit for this verdict. But I'd also bet my left nut that, if the shoe were on the other foot, the Republicans would have done the exact same thing. I'm tired of partisan critiques of our political parties. Both are destroying our country.
It would be an extremely difficult conspiracy to pull off. You had to convince a grand jury to indict, you had to prove your case in a public trial and a jury had to convict. Yeah, the D.A. wanted to go after Trump because he was a big target. Look through history and you will see this happen time and time again. Also, the case was a slam dunk. They had receipts, business records, audio recording, corroborating witnesses and a defense that didn't put up much of a defense. If this case had happened before Trump was a big political name, nobody is defending this guy, especially with his poor reputation. Anyone who paid attention to him before the apprentice knew he was a crook and a liar.
Congrats on your marriage brother! And I hear ya. I'm 🇨🇦 and I would vote for Trump! But same here can't stand our Prime minister. Can't wait for our elections to vote his ass out.
I think you are dead wrong about them taking rhe wind out of American's sails....if anything it has added fuel to the fire and ignited a flame so hot that people are joining together...you will see.
So, great show guys. Now im danish and we got this dude called "Grauballemanden". And he looks young compared to your president candidates. (do a google picture seach and it will make sense). Looking from the outside in, it seems like all candidates, is old guys with alot of money or/and got backers with their own agenda. Is the political system broken or outdated in america? Alot of the lower and middle class seems to be dropped onto the floor. Thoughts on that?
Sawyer has turned into the ranting screaming blue haired liberal that he hates so much. Just the opposite end of spectrum. Just as annoying really. Love your farm talk tho
