Scott you're by far the best Guntuber out there - I really appreciate your humor, the amount of knowledge you drop, the guns you use and of course the way you display it all. All gentle and fun. Best luck for you!
Its imo actually a good gimmick to make people who barely watches, to come watch the video for the intro and also ro keep people watching til the end for him cleaninh the table
I love you, I love your channel, I love your sense of humor, I love how you make me laugh, and most of all, I love your passion for life and enjoying it. I am a disabled combat veteran and I suffer from major depression and struggle with not wanting to live every day. The 15 or 20 minutes of watching your videos really does lift my mood even if just by a bit sometimes it helps me keep moving forward just another day on this rock. Thank you for a reason to be here another day. God Bless You and I am so thankful that you survived your accident and are continuing to spread joy around the world.
Jeff, We are stronger in our numbers than statistics want to show. Don't be a statistic. Make a friend that can make you laugh even when not trying to do so....like a dog, for one example. You are useful and appreciated in spite of what you may think or feel. Hang around for more of Scott's vids and to see what Brandon Herrera can do in Congress!
The inside the car part was interesting. For the suppressed, all you really hear is the "thunk" of the bullet hitting the car, but never really hear the shot itself.
Hello, I am Korean and I got to know this channel through RU-vid recommendations. The gun explosion was a terrible accident and I was shocked to see this video. I'm happy to see you in a healthy and bulletproof suit, and please continue to pay more attention to safety accidents and make good videos. Thank you.
@@TEXAS_minetester Check out the Keymo system from Deadair. It is a QD system that locks up tight. I use my Sandman (30 caliber) and Wolfman (355 caliber) suppressors on a Marlin 336 lever action and many semi-autos. You just have to buy a Keymo muzzle brake for each rifle.
Scott, you have quickly become my favorite RU-vid creator. I love your sense of humor and the creativity you put into your videos. Keep going strong bro!
yeah, his opening skits are always good. i must have seen a few hundred by now - it's amazing how many ideas he comes up with for them, i'd have run out ages ago but not scott! 😃
You found a unique identity and you embrace it. A veteran with war scars from an extra spicy meatball that hates furbys, destroys folding tables, and loves their crane. And I love every bit of it
@@lonewolf0712 it's really not that bad, especially shooting subsonic rounds. standing up, it really isnt much worse that 12 guage slugs, with standard 300grn ammo
@@lonewolf0712 Still not an issue. Now yes, a 10 inch .45-70 revolver is quite a handful. But once you're up to lever gun size, it's got a kick but still quite manageable.
Something I noticed while watching is that the sub-sonic rounds are actually very visible in the slow motion captured where as the standard/super-sonic are typically not besides a few select frames. Thought it was neat to see the path the bullet took.
I'm assuming this is mostly due to the super sonic wake causing a disturbance in the light reflected back to your eye whereas the subsonic don't create that supersonic wake allowing more light to reflect directly back to your eye.
@Kawka1122 A sub-sonic 45-70 is pushing over 1,000 foot pounds of energy. You're either trolling or incredibly stupid if you think that isn't lethal in every possible interpretation of the word. Thats like 4x more muzzle energy than a 9mm.
its not depletint oxygen that doesnt make any sense at all. if there is a low pressure zone in the ocean of an atmosphere we live in it will relatively 'immediately' be equalized.. common exceptions we see might be the low pressures zones visibly maintained in front of large turbofan engines or on top of aerodynamic surfaces of flying aircraft
@@byloyuripka9624 the powder continues to burn and release gas into the suppressor, filling it. Quick follow up shots are actually quieter, but increases pressure in the system, a real world problem for anything with automatic cycling.
Smokeless powder is 'rich' and doesn't contain enough oxygen to completely burn, when you fire the muzzle blast contains significant amounts of flammable gases, mostly carbon monoxide and hydrogen. The first shot 'pop' is the oxygen in the suppressor igniting those gases coming out of the barrel, kind of like a car backfiring. It happens unsupressed too, but the gunshot is loud enough to drown it out.
Filming from inside of the car actually ended up being pretty insightful. 👍 If you are in that car you would have absolutely no clue where the shots are coming from. Lol I'm pretty surprised that 45-70 can get that quiet.
This is a perfect example of why you need to bring the old school pine boards back. I would be more interested in how a subsonic round stacks up against a supersonic round.
Scott is the best gun guy on RU-vid that's currently making content, such a good dude who doesn't over do the entertainment aspect. Just gets straight to the point with the content & keeps me informed along with highly entertained every video. I love you to death my guy
All in all that's about 3K for everything which to be honest is not bad for such a badass rifle! The Model X has been on my bucket list but now I know what accessories I want! 🔥
my man here has been doing these videos for many years now and for those who have been he from the start know that this man deserved the subscribers and from a gun he was shooting almost 3 or 4 years ago that almost ended his life please do him a huge favor and subscribe instead of passing this man on by lets get kentucky ballistics all the way to 10 million subs. love you my man and hope that your accident never happens again and stay safe!!! 😁😁😁
I know a guy who bought a chronograph. The very first day he got it, his brother shot it! Destroyed it completely, surprisingly he didn’t punch his brother in the nose.
Scott, I need to see you try out a 500 Bushwacker! T2 armory converts BFR revolvers to chamber it, and you can still shoot 500 magnum in it. To my knowledge the 500 Bushwacker is the most powerful handgun round in existence
You are an encyclopedia of knowledge towards tools of self defence and beyond, with your Bro Scooter at your side what could possibly go wrong, a great recipe of good humour and a sprinkling of experienced professionalism, Great content and entertainment, OAP in the UK.
You put out some of the funniest content of every gun channel. Imprinted grin on my face from start to stop with your episodes. Love everything you do! Appreciate ya'!
I just love Scotts random chaotic energy moments and ITSSSS WATERRRRMELON TIMEEEE 😂😂😂 Edit: could we see some longer distance shooting, like double the distance of that can shooting ?
This channel is so underrated. We need to show Scott some love. His intros are funny and his channel is very exotic. There aren't many gun content creators like him. Where does he even get these cool guns from lol.
There are a lot of videos that show unsupressed vs suppressed ammo. Not a lot that actually do a good job showing the difference. This was a very good video. Especially the part shooting at the car.
It’s not really that useful from a tactical perspective. It’s just as you said, a different toy to plink around with and show off to your friends, or maybe a rifle for someone who needs the added ergonomics for hunting. To me it doesn’t make a lot of sense to add to the collection or spend any money on, but to each their own. If it makes you happy, enjoy.
@@ThePoisonedReaper Not really. Semiautomatic is the way to go for everything tactical. Also 45-70 is not an ideal cartridge for a number of reasons. I’m not saying it won’t work, but you could perform far better with an AR10 or something similar in that situation.
If anyone wants to know why eggplant puree smells like an ashtray, it's because they're in the same family. An eggplant is a nonlethal engorged fruit of a nightshade essentially. Tobacco, tomatoes, peppers and eggplant are all related
Thank you for your videos . I didn't even know about most of the guns you own. Even though I will most likely never see one in person or shoot one, its cool to watch you shoot them.
You should throw everyone off on April Fool's Day and be Scooter throughout the whole video. Invite Garand Thumb and his crew because Scooter and Charlie together would be HILARIOUS.
I think all future "watermelon time" cut scenes should be Scott mowing down said melons with a mini gun, regardless of what gun is featured in the video. This deserves a bunch of likes. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Great video, Scott!! Hey, if you shot a 4 Bore rifle, I challenge you to get and shoot a Mauser M1918 T-Gewehr, but in their default configuration (without muzzle break, rubber back stock, and any accesory)
As always I enjoyed watching. Besides, the fact that you go through different guns and show us the differences between ammunition and such, I think you might be up for comedian of the year award. Not only is it informational when it comes to the different types of guns and ammunition it is also some of the funniest videos I’ve ever watched. Thanks for doing what you do and keeping us informed and helping me to bust a gut once in a while.
I remember my first shooting with a supressor with glock 19. It was during some presentation of a shop and they didn't change the sight to be taller and recoil spring so there were constant jams... BUT the sound and recoil when I shot my first round - I was like "wtf? is it real glock or just an air gun?". The recoil was nearly nothing and the sound was like from blowgun. So I definitely know what you're talking about when you don't even have ear protection!
I've always heard that keeping your equipment clean is the best way to make it last. I'm sure Scott will get a good long service life from that table now.
Fallout 4 have the possibilty to get a suppressed 45-70, really cool to run it with a companion that got the same, it feels like a duo of sniper-cowboys post apocalypse 😅
Scott.... FYI: lava lamps.... Just so you know, the lava in lava lamps is a type of paraffin wax. The liquid around it, at the blobs swirl through, is a type of flammable oil....that was actually kind of on the dangerous side to shoot. See the episode of mythbusters where they deal with lava lamps....
Great video! I'd love to see you do a video on the 45 Raptor cartridge. Basically, a rimless 460 S&W. It hasn't gotten much traction because it was just getting popular when the lockdowns happened. But they make bolt actions and AR-10s chambered for it.
11:42, Scott finally becomes Gallagher. I've waited for this moment since he started smashing tables with his amazing mallet. Love the content, love the passion, love the laughs!!
Amazing video Scott! I felt like I was watching a 4th of July fireworks grand finale! It has all your tricks in one video. I was laughing hard at the supersonic on the cans. They just disappeared!
Awesome to see that my favorite configuration aka. a 45-70 lever action with a sight and a suppressor from Far Cry 5 is actually a real thing :D Thanks for the video Scott :)
First gun I ever owned was a model 94 30-30 I paid $50 of my own $$$ I was 9 years old !!! Used to have a model 92 44--40 re-chambered for 44 magnum Just like a punch to the shoulder !!!
With all the "Poupon" jokes I was sure there would be a comment about how your were going to "Peas" on the table! lol! 😁 One tip for everyone to add a bit more entertainment. After watching Scott's Slow-mo shots, back up the video and change the playback speed to .25 speed and it's kind of like having "The Slow Mo Guys" Super slow video playing and you get to see even more detailed splatters!
The bullet may be subsonic, but the escaping propellant gasses aren't. That's why it's so important to trap the gasses so they vent at subsonic speeds.
