The Silver Case is a surreal mystery game by Suda51. Like most Suda51 plots it features a normal premise surrounded by Lynch style weirdness. This is its first western release and because of that we get to finally experience Suda51's oldest work.

_Absolutely fantastic!_ I love the whole noir aesthetic. The very stylized city, buildings... just the drive in the beginning set the pace & the tone of the story. And the music! ♡ I think it is going to be a great story... we''ll get deep into the minds of Heinous Crime Unit leaders & the real demonic killer, Kamui Uehara. I played the demo & fell in love with the game. So glad you're playing it!

This surreal and yet stylish mystery is drawing me in already. I love the paranormal cop, but the surreal mystery cop is also winning my heart over too. This is going to be interesting~

Oh thank God. I was going to do it when the US release was taking too long. Now I'm glad I got lazy. Thank you, Manly. That remix of the OP is *amazing*. Oh gawd. Right away. Kusabi on a long road. That's probably a nod to Lynch's Lost Highway film -- the longest highway the camera drives on in both the opening and closing credits.

HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS REMAKE? I have been wanting an English translation of this game for so long. ;;w; Also I hope grasshopper might be considering an hd remake of flower sun and rain. The ds port is nice but it would be nice to have both this game and FSR on steam together.

Talk about an opening act. Criminal Noire meets demonic possession... I hope this stays interesting, because I'm hooked so far. This UI is awesome too.

Gee I wonder did Yayoi collect Ryo's and Rumi's souls after they had been shot dead? Then atleast the scenes of the meadow with that one tree (where Ryo talks to his sister Kyouko, Sumio and Rumi) would make more sense... oh and kill the past and kill the life

When Rumi said she killed someone who was she referring to? The body they found before? Was she the one that killed Mika or Kyoko? Not familiar with Moonlight Syndrome beyond the basic synopsis so I was just curious.

Been had this game but been puttin it off because I knew that it would be old fashion and a bit quirky. Finally sort of gettin the hang of the ancient controls. 😅The struggle is real! I almost returned this one back to my local game stop. My patience ain't what it use to be but damn this story do seem intriguing. Never been one to really quit so I'm tryin y'all. Wont check this let's play unless I'm truly stuck ha ✌🏿

This has been reported by sources as coming to the Nintendo Switch now. It would be interesting to create a Visual Novel RPG... as in you start out as a rookie with basic HP and baseline skills like street policing skills, court negotiating, etc and as you progress through traps, cases, court rulings, etc you become stronger and stronger and your skills improve depending on how much you use them in prior cases. The closest thing I can think of that this could be compared to was De Ja Vu for the original Nintendo.

It does the episode lunatics (and the comic that you get along with the OST if you buy the deluxe version on steam) is an epilogue to moonlight syndrome and the gameplay of Killer 7 kinda explains what happend at the end of that game
