I disagree on choosing MF over ETF, i did exactly the same on Motilal Oswal NASDAQ 100 ETF when it was hovering around 100 and earned 12% in just 2 week(luck) Can we like this comment so as to reach out to Akshat his thought process of choosing MF over ETF? ETF makes lot more sense with no Expense ratio as such Only reason i can think of is ETF carrying tracking error as compare to MF NAV + Liquidity issue in ETF but I would still go with ETF

Informative video. According to me, basic technical required for swing trading due to avoid stop loss to hit. Swing trade is mostly for a person having good capital like you. guys there is no shortcut to earn the money, one who are beginner, should go for quality investing with quality stock. just need to put your amount amount with good fundamental companies to make a quality capital to play with.

UTI Nifty Index fund was also an option. Exit load at 0% and also less expense ratio. Not to forget it has the highest AUM among all the Index Funds.

Nice explaination. Apart from the expense ratio and exit load, there will be tax deduction on the short term capital gain and we need to pay 20% or 30% tax on profit w.r.t income slab

Mf short term capital gain is 15% . He made 3lakh on 50 lakh capital. 45000 will be going in tax(provided if he don't have short term loss to cover). Still 255000 good amount of profit and this amount will again be invested in individual stocks with high risk capacity as nothing to loose

If you are planning to invest in nifty then ETF like nifty bees would have been a good option which has negligible exit load and expense ration. Also if you are investing such a huge amount portfolio could have been hedged by option. And as you target is around 18300 then at least a monthly call option can be sold at 18300 . By this way you can earn some money if you target is not meet.

Almost guaranteed implies something like 70-90% accuracy. But this type of basic support and resistance strategy will only give around 60% accuracy. But always remember accuracy is dependent on your stoploss. High SL = High accuracy = High risk.

MF NAV are usually slotted 1-2 days after you purchase and not instant like stocks. Since we are dealing with 5-6% margin, if we wait for 1-2 days it might hamper my expectations. How to resolve this?
