We are a CM inspired family. I have been homeschooling for a long, long time (over 20 years).....this curriculum is absolutely amazing. She has done a wonderful job of streamlining all of the "troublesome areas" that tend to bog most of us down and she has put it together very thoughtfully. I am going to share this with lots of other mamas, especially those that are just beginning or getting ready to begin soon. Please give her my compliments from a very verteran mom. Your video was also exactly what moms need and that is a good look at the materials we are looking at for our families. You did an excellent job showing us and pointing out things as you went. Your video editing was top notch, too! Well done, both of you!!
Kristi thank you so much for the kind words! She did such a lovely job putting this together. I'm so happy you enjoyed the video! I actually have a flip through of Vol. 2 coming up soon for another 6 weeks of the curriculum ☺
I'm so impressed by this comprehensive and beautiful enrichment program, and I think you guys are going to really love it. The curriculum flip through begins at 07:02 :)
I am not sure from where you're coming to that conclusion. Like mentioned at the beginning of the flip through, there are three resources for vol 1. A novel (The Golden Goblet), a history/geography resource (Hot on the Trail in Ancient Egypt), and your bible- which is also a historical resource. The curriculum is designed to have short and sweet lessons on each topic, so the Nile specifically is not dived into ad nauseam throughout, but there is plenty of information in the resources about it. The very first geography/ social studies lesson covers the Nile, of which I just flipped through the Hot on the Trail book right now to check, and it's on pages 10 and 11, which I think covers more than enough information on the Nile- it's location, it's size, how it benefits the region, etc. You've got lots packed into this curriculum in small, digestible chunks!
