While he is emulating this on his PC, this is not exactly a Java version. This was one of those very early iOS & Android game apps. You know the ones.. the ones that would cost $3.99 but also have a “Lite” or a “Free” version to accompany it.. Despite its name, this was a very different version than the Konami arcade classic that we are used to (as you can see). A completely different developer and a more simplified version with some different twists than the original. I downloaded this game back in the day and now it’s pretty much lost media for the most part. Not only has it been delisted but it’s not even recoverable via your “Purchase History” either. It’s good to know that hackers/modders were able to preserve this version. I do miss it. Definitely worth the conversation piece too! Especially if you are a Simpsons fan! :)

⁠@@spenserbeckerszsI don’t think they meant a Java version of the original Konami arcade game, this appears to be a simplified “Java” version of the iOS/Android game. Look up videos if you want to see the graphical differences between this and the more commonly played version
