That’s because of a video by a guy named LSmark where he reviewed every episode of the Simpsons and recommended you watch this intro where everyone dies. RU-vid’s algorithm sees a sudden spike and recommends it to people.
Wouldn't be the first time, remember when he was sober enough to be a Helicopter pilot and he saved Bart (and lisa) from a Forest fire? (season 11, episode 18)
Because first off, homer got killed by getting the uranium bar stuck in his throat, next, lisa got hurt by not walking safely, and Maggie tried to drive but Marge won't let Maggie do it, Maggie didn't listen, and Marge drowned, and the only character inside the Simpsons house, is bart, bart is too slow to get back is because barney broke bart's skateboard in half
and the part where all of the citizens are there and almost gets ran over by marge's car? (i think i don't remember the intro well) if marge survived, bart most likely wouldn't
Man it's kinda funny to me that even with how dark this is, they couldn't bring themselves to show Maggie's body floating to the top! And yet, they still were ruthless enough to leave a conspicuous pause there to let us wonder if they were gonna do it!
These deaths are mostly cartoon logic too, like, why was Marge in the backseat while Maggy on the wheel and how did they reach the point in the cliffside before that? Or for another example the "plutonium" bar homer handles fitting perfectly in his mouth to choke him. Lisa's death was most realistic since she fell on her head, but still not necessarily a deadly injury in most cases.
"Whoa, finally, I get the remote" *sinister music as sideshow bob enters* "HELLO, BART." "AAAAAHHHH!!!!!!" *Bob approaches Bart with a knife and just as Bart is about to be stabbed it cuts to the TV with the credits*
@@charizardoreo Bob: *turns to TV* you watch this program too? Bart: yeah, wanna watch? Bob: Eh, why not. *sits next to Bart* Bart: You gonna try and kill me afterwards? Bob: probably *cue intro credits*
My 3 options: 1. Getting ran over by a car when he was riding near moe’s bar 2. Tripping on a rock and falling off the shore 3. Getting killed by sideshow bob while he was sitting on the couch
"My uncle had this on a tape back in the 90's and it cursed my family and killed them. I write this to let you all know." - How it probably would've gone
"Suddenly, a bloody head of bart's head appeared, surrounded by bloody corpses of his bloody family, all their bloody heads were bloody missing and bloody blood trailed to a blood red bloody stake, but the video glitched and my bloody head was on the bloody stake. I gasped, suddenly bloody text flashed onto the bloody TV screen as if it was my blood as it was obvious blood type A. It read in a creepy distorted tone, "Where's your head!?!" That's when I realised, my head was missing [eNd]" 10/-5, would read again - IGN -74/2,657 Not bloody enough - Matt Groening -8/-4 hate it, not enough doe - Papa John
Suddenly, bart's decapitated head which is covered in blood says "How dare you pirate a simpsons episode, now you should go to jail for piracy, hahahahah!" You suddenly feel sick.
Since the early seasons, Bart has been haunted by a psychopath who sincerely wants to kill him, but he still outlived his entire family. Lucky guy. Headcanon: Maggie didn't die and Bart continued to raise and care for her alone.
So this episode was actually the first one to be fully animated by The Simpsons' in-house unit at Fox Television Animation - before this, all of the show's animation had been handled by Film Roman since around Season 4. ...I dunno why their first couch gag was so bleak, BUT there are some pretty interesting tells within the couch gag itself. First of all, if you compare the "new animation" (basically all of the shots of the family dying) to the "old animation" (the shots you would usually see in the 2009 intro anyway), the characters in general use more frames in their animation, and the poses are a lot more dynamic. This is, presumably, because Film Roman had a policy at some point in the early to mid 2000s requiring all of the animators to stay perfectly on model at all times, allowing for "cleaner" animation at the cost of less "fun" animation (and also making it easier to simply outsource the grunt work overseas). FTA doesn't seem to have the same policy in place. Episodes from the WABF production season and beyond have more noticeable errors in its animation because of this (check out the couch gag from "Lisa Has the Blues", where Lisa is clearly not positioned correctly on the background, resulting in one of her feet looking like it's floating), but I think it's an acceptable tradeoff for having animation with more personality. Second, during scenes where you're less likely to be paying attention, FTA uses a lot more Flash animation than the previous company did (though The Simpsons Movie did have a few shots that were motion tweened as well, probably animated at the last minute given the abnormal production schedule of that movie, and some bits in the 2009 intro were re-animated by editors using motion tweens). This is actually noticeable in this couch gag right here - when Bart walks into the living room, his initial walk cycle before he starts turning his body is motion-tweened. Finally, FTA uses more CGI on vehicles like Marge's car than Film Roman did (though again, lots of CGI was used in The Simpsons Movie, and the opening camera pan on Springfield has been done in CGI since 2009), but they also only tend to use CGI on things they would reasonably already have a model for from a past episode (like Marge's car). The background while Maggie is driving, for example, is hand-animated, no CGI, no motion tweens, and it's a wobbly janky mess... and I like it. Embrace the jank, fellas!
Also the treehouse of horror when the entire Simpson’s died, and groundskeeper Willie found the lifeless body’s of Bart, Lisa and Maggie and said that he found stew meat for the winter
@Trevor Philips Many episodes made within the last few years have a really jarring tone. They're pretty laid back for the most part, but every now and then their sense of humor will get much darker/ edgier than normal, and then go back to being mostly inoffensive. It's like the writers can't agree on whether they want to be edgy and shocking or standard and mostly PG.
@@guyofminimalimportance7 But it's not dark just because you can't handle it doesn't make it dark now new Family Guy that's a bit too offensive The Simpsons just feel like its changing into the Modern Family of today
This is one of the most horrifying things I've seen in my life, honestly. Like, really shocking and not what I expected to see when watching The Simpsons. I swear it has the tone of a "lost episode"
Y'all need to shut the fuck up. It's called hyperbole. It was my way of expressing how unsettling this is in the context of the show itself. Go back to school and learn about figurative language.
What the rest if the simpsons should have done to stay alive: Homer: should have put the nuclear thing nice and gently down instead of dropping it. Lisa: Shouldn't have spun around with her eyes closed while walking and playing her saxophone because that's not smart. Marge: Shouldn't have let Maggie drive! Maggie?: How can she reach the pedal? Homer: Deceased. Lisa: Deceased. Marge: Deceased. Maggie: Unknown Bart: Alive.
Homer: Trust me he’s done this atleast 600 times even more, he probably just got cocky Lisa: Like I said with homer, she got cocky Marge: Maggie has actually never drove, so if anything marge is responsible for both there deaths Mags: other the years we’ve seen Maggie do some impressive stuff like for example, Kill Cargill in the simpsons movie, save people Bart: probably was about to expect waking up Barney thousands of times
@hesvillainous Well, yes. It does makes sense about Homer and Lisa being cocky. Still not sure why Marge was asleep in the back seat. Also, Russ Cargill is still alive. I know a giant rock hitting him like that can be fatal, but he survived, somehow.
Just before the car hits the water, I noticed Marge is flopped over the back seat with her eyes glazed over, i think the impact from going off the road already killed her or at least gave her a concussion.
Barney: Hey! (Breaks Bart's skateboard) Homer swallowed the cell in his mouth and fainted. Lisa: Ugh! (fell to the floor and dropped her saxophone) Marge: Aaahhh! (She sees Maggie driving the car off the cliff, next a barn, and then the lake. They both fall into it.)
