The Sims 2 Rags to Riches challenge extreme edition (funny). Welcome to the first episode of the Rags to Riches challenge, with a twist - we start off with $0 and only a cash register to our name and we can only sell items that my Sim digs up or receives as a gift. To make things even more challenging, I can't sell the items in Buy/Build Mode - I have to manually sell them at a business (this is where the Open for Business expansion pack comes into play). How will I do in this ultimate Sims 2 Rags to Riches challenge? Find out today!
The general idea for this video came from Tytar's creative attempt at this challenge so let me just say a huge shout out to him. And yeah, as always, enjoy the chaos, there's plenty of it in this video haha

Pro tip: I'm pretty sure that you could only get one kind of map once if it is in your inventory so always take it out for better chance.

This video was recorded a while back and I wasn’t paying much attention even then but I could’ve sworn I saw more than one map of the same place in his inventory at one point? I could well be wrong tho so from now on I think I’ll take them out just to be safe

When I was little I always tried to give my Sims the best life they could get, so they rarely if ever resorted to crying in despair, and they never got nightmares. I recently did a couple rags to... some cash "challenges" myself (couldn't bother reaching riches 😆) and I always got so sad from seeing my Sims cry and have nightmares 😅 this poor Sim here is going through it!

Knowing the current business model for sims. They'd have 4 dlcs just for you to open and operate your own store, digging stuff up, selling stuff.. and making your own property into a store. I wish I could play sims 1 and 2

Thank you! Tbh I haven’t fully thought that part through because I wasn’t sure how difficult it’d be and if people would even be interested. Initially the goal was just to make enough money to build a liveable house but now I think the end goal could be the big mansion in Pleasantview, altho that might be a tad ambitious with the current limitations

1. When water burst pipe appear, fill again until water stop💦💧✖️❎🌈🌈🌈🌈& then dig again so not happen many hole water burst pipe, just only 1. 2. VERY HATE due screen display multiple objects appear in upper left screen, not in right position normal screen that make game crash if back to live mode but still appear screen display multiple objects & choose 1 of them or what do. I ever experience that & now i forget why happen due fortunately, very rare happen to me. 3. Ever happen costumers do "mess" when i play family sims before (already reach "the end" {not neighborhood corruption} & entire 5 families sims did that, so right time to delete neighborhood & replace backup fresh "reset" that neighborhood with 5 future families/households sims), 1 or more customers play billiard at 2nd floor left side house (if i not wrong remember), very far away from business room on 1st floor right side house. 4. Ever cast spell remedis Simae to self, so get memory meet self & if happen, roll want associated with self. Hope not make neighborhood corruption. 5. I always not want play rag riches, play normal 5 sims in family/household open for business & must no one get career job due 1 as sale (always a Papa that have son as single child/youngest child as "first star", the main character for me), 2 register & 2 restock, a costumer take object but free & go home that i not get any money from 1 costumer, due call to visit & when arrive, show object that for sell & costumer bring object free, if i not wrong remember, i little to medium forget. 6. If free will set off, program game Sims 2 always not command sim that red aspiration do something that characteristics of going crazy (fortune aspiration: become beggar that sim always not doing that if free will set off).
