Yeah…if it can handle games with super high graphics, i think it could definitely handle the sims 4. But knowing EA they will probably sell it for 89 bucks.😕

@@nxl_cat4767 if you have patience to look at those deformed faces and aren't looking for a romantic gameplay. Absolutely DS, but gotta say it's a bit grindy, you can't abuse the Art skill easy money again and there are a lot of objectives to do.

@@danteyt5191 new laptops work fine but you need to do a lot of mod installing a config tweaking for it to run well on modern machines

you can even change the style of the bedsheet, color of the clothing. it has far superior customization compared to sims 4.

The build and buy features in PS3/Xbox 360 is similar to PC/Mac although there some differences. Both this game and The Sims 3 Pets use a "Fire Meter" which is an object limit (the original had no limit), you can only customize a lot you live in (at least in TS3) and can't customize other Lots or Community Lots, and the Sims' inventories are shared rather than each Sim having their own inventory. Households are limited to 6 Sims (or total of 6 Sims and Pets) as opposed to 8 on PC/Mac (10 with _Pets_ although no more than 8 Sims or 6 Pets). The console version doesn't let you change your household (which you can do in PC/Mac) and for some strange reason, leaving a Sim behind or kicking them out *deletes* them unlike PC/Mac where the Sims left behind stay. Lastly, PS3/Xbox 360 uses zones similar to The Sims 4 instead of being open world. There are some changes such as Skill Challenges being renamed to Skill Milestones, and both games prompting you to enter Create a Sim when you acquire a career outfit instead of automatically equipping it. Also, the console version does use the original rules compared to PC/Mac. For example, you can't add basements (added from World Adventures onwards) and Pools can only be on the first floor (Late Night onwards allowed Pools to be placed on any floor).

Not sure if I had that or just the base version (I think it was the normal version), but it was pretty satisfying for a while. But I remember being irritated by how much content was missing in the 360 version and learning that I was wasting my time looking for aliens because they were only in the Seasons expansion pack for PC.

I'm currently frantically trying to find the power cord for my wii. I was thinking about ordering sims 3 for 360, but remembered I have it on wii already, so I might as well play it there. But it's been so long, and the cables aren't with the console 😞
