I was sure I was going to watch chaos, but nothing could ever had prepared me for those budgets! I want to add that if I was doing this challenge, my budgets would range from 500 to 20000 simoleons 😊

Build challenge idea: one item per pack per room. You can use the same item more the once but e.g the six dining chairs have to be from a different pack to the table.
So I think you should do this challenge again but I think you should go into the pre built rooms cataloge and see the price of the different types of rooms and use those numbers on the wheel so that way you know you have enough for the basics!

Use Google for a number generator 1000-20000. And then use the wheel for the styles! That would be awesome! And an extra challenge. I love your builds!
Here's an idea, Stop me if you've heard it before. Build a House challenge but every room is built by a different Sims RU-vidr. Example You, James, Simlicy etc.....
The dining room is SO LOVELY!! I'd love to see a video where you renovate this house with no extra budget - ie. you can only get money by selling the existing items that are in the house right now.
This is such a fun challenge!💯 I do agree that some of the budgets were a bit too low for necessary living accommodations. If you add a few more high range budgeting options, you should be able to afford the bare minimum for each room without sacrificing crucial items such as beds or appliances👍

To make the challenge not impossible you'll have to price up the cheapest nessecities. So even if you spin/roll the lowest value you can still place items to make a room functional. About 700 simoleons will let you place the essentials in any room, less than that and you wouldn't be able to make a functional bathroom (sink, toilet, shower) or kitchen (counter, sink, stove, fridge and bin), at least without custom content priced cheaper than maxis cheapest. For your wheel, have the number of entries match the number of rooms, and maybe double the value each time? So 1000, 2000, 4000, 8000, 16000, 32000 etc. Once you've spun for a room, remove that entry from the wheel.
Do this again & set better prices. The MINIMUM for a bath is $420 using showhiddenobjects so the lowest price should be $500. Space the prices up from that evenly to the highest value which really should probably only be $20k.
For budget you should do like 500, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, 10,000, and 50,000. I think the house looks really really good (aside from the living room and the kid’s room, of course). Love your videos and I hope you this again it was really fun to watch
I feel like the amounts needed to be adjusted. Like bars minimum could have 1000 and max 50,000. Even 1,000 would have been a struggle in a lounge room or kids bedroom. Next time you could even do the outside a well. I did REALLY love that kitchen. I would get that irl.
I feel like the amounts were too low. Anything under $1000 would likely look bad or be impossible, $500 would be challenging but possible. I feel that would be dangerous enough to have on the wheel. Also, choose the room after you get the budget. It's always gonna be a challenge, especially if you have to use it all but $1000 makes more sense for a hallway than a kitchen
I think if you do the challenge again you shouldnt do any options under 1k at least if you had a k you could have gotten a potty and a bed for the kids room.
I think you should have one REALLY cheap one like 100 simoleans and then a 1000 a 2000 a 3000 a 4000 a 5000 and something crazy like 40k Depending on how many rooms you're planning on doing you might want to add a 2500 and a 1500 and a 500?
Be more realistic with the costing in the game. That’s what I’d do. Like I look at the cheapest TV for the living room etc. I want to do it one day but minimum probably no less than 500 maybe 1000 at least.

I'd love if you could try challenges like this one without cc! I feel like cc is very differently priced compared to the maxis items and, not being able to keep up with all the cc, using cc in such challenges makes them less relatable and exciting for me!
Maybe the storyline here is that the sim couple just bought this house because they’re expecting to grow their family and so they’re renovating it room by room and the nursery and living room are up next?!
Maybe the family is renovating a new home and they are planning on adopting a toddler? Hence why it's halfway done. And they are working on the rooms in order of what they need to get moving quicker?
I think the reason why the living room and toddler room is they got leaking pipes under the floor, and everything was destroyed, and they are currently renovating it..
You should fix this house with no additional money! But just sell stuff from the kitchen and expensive rooms only in order to furnish the rest of the house. I think that would be fun to see.
For the next one, you should have a discretionary fund! If you get $5000 for one room but only use $3000 put the extra money into a “pot” and then if you run into an issue where you need more money you can take from the pot. But once it runs out it runs out.
When you need a really cheap sleeping option just hit show hidden objects and in eco lifestyle there's a double bed for 25!! Simoleons)) there's also a kinda nice table for 4 for 30 and chairs for 10 simoleons each)
