If you build just 1 square on your lot you can claim it as a micro home (if you have tiny living) and gain skill so much faster, it's crazy. Especially if your sim enjoys that skill, such as painting. You can probably max out the skill in a couple sim days
When you started taking pictures of your picture... Man, my mind was just blown!! I thought, this guy right here is breaking boundaries in the art world.
As someone mentioned in the chat, if you have Get Together you can start a club to have people come to your lot and clean up/repair/paint as well as pay for your business. Get Famous would give you a boost for prices and visitors off of fame, but that's more like a speed increase than a full mechanic.
This was so much fun, but it seemed too easy in The Sims 4 so I decided to do for myself in The Sims 3. It's rough. But it's fun. I made friends with the mascot, moved her in we fell in love and (thanks to the woohooer mod and autonomous woohoo), made a baby. All while living in a tent in a field. Chaos. Thanks so much for the idea!!
How does the entrance fee work? Is anyone on your property required to pay it? If so imagine making the entrance fee like $1000 then starting a fire and making all the firemen pay you 😂
I like how the first time I played I felt so lost. Crazy house crappy mood always depressed and burnt alive making mac and cheese. Second playthrough I'm an at home writer, artist, repairman, tinkerer bodybuilder, broke up the Goths marriage and had like 4 kids while her 8 kids from her ex took turns sleeping in the small house lol.
Just to let you know, the sidewalk in front of your house or behind your house can be considered both public and private property, since you pay and own that part of the land.
I bought the person I would eventually marry an inflatable couch/bed with cup holders because they moved out to California for a tech job. They lived at work most of the time in the beginning, and I thought they should have a couch without committing to an expensive one for a bit. Eventually I helped pick out house things and move in as well and we got cats. We moved to another place, and the couch we got wouldn't fit, and so we whipped out the old inflatable couch, and one of the cats popped it, saying "you're too old for this". Inflatable sofa bed with cup holders, $35... it'll work.
If someone expected that this thumbnail is a clickbait I'm happy to not disappoint you. I expected to see shirtless Pimp Gandalf (more like Gandalf the Gayy) and I wasn't disappointed whatsoever. We even get to see him taking his only fans shoots. 😏
Just wanted to say a minute in, love the sims 1 music, and i kinda wish you would use it more though i'm also glad you use a variety in your videos, including from other sims games
I took several art history classes over the years. I had to retake one of them because I couldn't always make it to class on time because public transportation making you leave 2 hours in advance, and still no guarantee. Anyway, the first professor made a point to pronounce the French painter Géricault (zheh·ruh·kow). Retaking the class with a Canadian professor made a big deal about some student pronouncing a different name properly, and then she pronounces Géricault as Gare-ah-colt. Internally, I'm thinking, "You're Canadian. Aren't you supposed to be better at French words than us American? You also have a masters degree in this subject." She wasn't remotely prepared for class, looking up the images in class, wasting load time.
I kind of want to increase the difficulty a tiny bit, like sims 2, where you have to pay for every article of clothing, except the set you spawn in with.
technically the sidewalk is your property and if you don't believe me ask the borough if it is when they tell you you have to fix it or keep the snow off it :P
Sadly TS4 isn't so great for challenges, not the way the previous titles were. I completed the 1Mil challenge in about 20-something Sim-days just by having a family of 3 paint non-stop without my sims ever leaving the lot. Er, most of my sims never leave the home lot... that's the default way I play the sims 4 holy crap why am I playing it still? Uuuunnnngh.

Without watching Ur video, I know u can do it. Bcuz I played my Sims in the same lot all the time. My crappy laptop can't handle Sims 4, it took half an hour for loading screen 😂
How about this, two people get married and while going through the others family photo album see themselves (as a kid) in the background at the fall fair and other gatherings of some of the photos.
... Wait, you moved from California, a relatively decent and sane area, to FLORIDA??? Florida is heading towards fascism even faster than Texas, and has a worse climate too! No amount of money saved from income taxes could possibly be worth that... :o (Also I don't know if this is the case with Florida, but at least here in Texas, they make up for the lack of income taxes with much higher sales and property taxes. The state will get its due, one way or another... :( )
