Almost 10 years since the release of The Sims 4: Get to Work, I decide to finally tackle the Detective Career.
Maybe it's because I'm a Sims 4 novice but I had absolutely no clue what I was doing throughout.

@@epiphanyravenous sims 4 is jsut costly because the DLC is overpriced, but you don't have to pay anything to play what you already have :)

I remember when in the original version they made arriving at work in a certain mood a requirement for doing good and getting promotions and the mood would shift last minute as the sim was leaving due to some random stuff, it was so frustrating 😂

Oh my god, that was a real thing and they got rid of that? I truly convinced myself that I basically hallucinated that they had a mood requirement for better performance and that it never actually existed… thank god I’m not crazy and it did exist, they just got rid of it 🥲🤣

@@NessiiBear yesss it was! it took me some time to register that too, esp with how expansive the sims UI has gotten it's difficult to look at all features and notice if any are missing

Y'now, I'm a big fan of police and the uniforms, but back when I still played The Sims 4, even I found this to be rather repetitive and tedious to play through. I mean, that sums up TS4 quite nicely, but yeah.

the sims 4 is only fun when you have mods installed imo.the chaos that can ensue is entertaining. no mods for sims 4=i'd rather play sims 2/3

Oh no.. here we go😅 The sims 4 detective career doesnt compare to the sims 3 private investigator, in my opinion, but i'm excited for future sims 4 videos. Ik you'll find a way to make them entertaining.
