It would be cool to have the new death if tarot cards are a thing in it. If you are given a bad reading, there's a pop-up about having so many days til death.

that would be funny! I think it would be even better if it was mystical, and your sim got the unlucky trait x10 so that theyre likely to die by random things in the next days

There definitely needs to be a grieving overhaul. You don’t get sad for 2 days and then your fine when a loved one or friend passes away. Makes no sense! So I hope that it’s more realistic.

Yeah maybe random, short lived sad mood let's or inspired noodles when the sim reminisces about a dead sim.

Yeah, but if u play with normal lifespan it could get awkward. If u have big families they could be in a constant state of mourning.

I really hope it's a spooky world. Forgotten Hollow is way too small so another world with that vibe would be great. Since it's being released on Halloween, that would make sense. I also want it to have a hidden afterlife world, like the magic realm. If they do give us a world with this pack, Olive Specter HAS to be one of the townies. This pack is practically made for her.

I’d be up for them being lfoested out but I hope they remove the occult abilities carrying over into the afterlife because otherwise why be alive? Like you aren’t a vamp or witch anymore you’re dead have you own abilities if any.

i think they may be alluding to the afterlife when they say “life”. maybe we’ll be getting an afterlife world that only ghosts and highly-skilled mediums can access, or maybe we’ll be getting more ways to communicate with dead sims like a necromancer career or something. and as far as the “death” part goes, i hope they give us funerals and a graveyard lot type, because i desperately need that in my gameplay lol

My top three wishes for this pack: 1. Updated ghosts (love as a free update) with their own haunting skill. 2. A psychic skill with a fortune teller/grim reaper work-from-home type career. 3. Graveyards with an interactable mausoleum object to retrieve gravestones for any dead sim (and a rabbit hole adventure like Sims 3).

I don’t think there will be a reaper career but I could see a funeral director career, mortician, and psychic. Those all connect the living and dead.

You have the option to strengthen a spirit's connection to the physical world, or release them into the spirit world. I could see the Spirit World being where those who are released from the physical world hang out. For Life & Death, this world could be called the Necropolis. I can see a Tarot deck being used by the Grim Reaper profession, kind of like the seance table for Paranormal Investigators, where the Sim uses the deck to determine whether to reap or not, for example.

i think, from the tarrot card, seeing world, it means we're getting a new world, hopefully. but your ideas are always on point when the packs come out. i think it's going to be like an "underworld" and maybe that's where our lovedn ones will be living, and we might get the opportunity to play them? who knows. I'm not a supernatural player either. I've tried. i do tht magic, but it's like too much work. it's overwhelming lol

I want some kind of interpretation of a "platinum death" after your Sims reach some kind of lifetime goal with hula girls and maitais. I also really want funerals and more gravestone and urn types.

I know this is a long shot, but I love for them to expand more on death in general in the game. I want sims to be able to have more serious illnesses, it seems like sims just live till their expected time if they don’t dying by like non outside factors. I just want there to be a tad more realism.

Career options: witch doctor, mortician, undertaker, soul reaper, or psychic. Life: christening of babies, day of the dead holiday, elder improvements, near death experiences, resurrection of the dead.

@@Caelumization I also think it would be cool if they would incorporate feuding over will/inheritance/possessions. Maybe tie it to the relationship between family members and possibly lead to a brawl at the funeral/burial/ hospital bedside. I also think it would help with realism by adding terminal illnesses and stages of grieving. It could be the affected sim and the family members, and it might be positive or negative depending on their closeness. Creating a support system or leading to further health complications.

I have a feeling there will be a death Realm maybe even a version of hell. And depending how you live your life. You might go there. So you have to live your life right. Maybe a ghost world? Maybe you can fight for a loved ones life? Funerals Event.? Fortune tellers..Purgatory? zombies? Preteens?

When I think about the world for this pack I think Mexico mostly Día de los muertos(day of the dead) think of it, souls awaken and return to living to celebrate with the living and the living give things the dead soul loved or had in there life to offer and remember them by. Or it's just me hoping for a Mexico world with a Día de los muertos event with Mexico food.

3/4 of the tarot cards shown are based on real tarot cards. They’re all right-side-up, which is the most positive possible meaning, and in traditional layouts the position of the card makes a difference. 1. The storybook nursery and artist studio kits: Obviously the design is based on The Star. “Hope, faith, purpose, renewal, spirituality.” 2. Reaper Rewards Event: there is no cowplant card in tarot 😂 but I think the hands reaching for the cake represent players wanting rewards as well as the cowplant cake 🤣 3. Life and Death pack: this is based on the Death tarot card. I think it’s self-explanatory. 4. And base game updates: this is based on The World tarot card and I’m really hoping for world updates of some kind. Also the corners of the card are Sulani, Mt Komorebi, Strangerville, and I think that’s Forgotten Hollow-Sims 4 worlds. 🤞 Really hoping the last one is a hint!

I don’t wanna get my hopes up but I really want this pack to be similar to Sims 3 Generations since Generations was all about your Sim’s lives from infants to elders. I want them to add strollers in the game again for our infants, elders could have walkers and canes and maybe even a wheelchair if they find ways to make that possible. Better death and grieving systems. It would be super cool as well if they added in a fear system for your Sims as well like have them fear death or have other Sims not be afraid of death. We need a memories system so that Elder sims can remember their young days while close to their deaths. Obviously a funeral event, inheritance. Better Teen sims lives as well like they need to add back the teen house party event where the parents go away and cops get called on the house for partying too much. It’s probably asking for too much considering this is EA we’re talking about but we need this badly in game. Oh and also a new nursing home lot would be amazing too

I was thinking the same thing, maybe a different realm / secret world kind of thing. I don’t need another world for this pack tbh, but I wonder how else they would include a cemetery (and a portal, and maybe retirement home). I also think an elder life stage focused pack is overdue and this might be it. I agree it should include things for every life stage, but elders might be a focus. This is also a good opportunity for new life aspirations! The aspirations are so lacking. I really want a general career driven aspiration, about skill gain, befriending coworkers, and promotions and career levels. And I’ve seen a nice elderly focused aspiration mod, something like that would be great.

Reaper skill is in game but hidden or im wrong? Will be a shame if they dont bring this job now, you can become with a mod, but they can do it way better Also if they dont bring an after life world, underworld something like that will be more shame, cmon
