I just went through a super hard breakup and found this video. this was SO helpful girl!! also for any of my girlies who need some inspiration one of my mentors at church just got married and pregnant at 40! She is doing wonderful things and is with her man that God provided! It will be worth the wait no matter how long.

I’m not the intended audience, but thank you for putting this out there. Not only is relying on God’s timing and not idolizing marriage important, but also realize there are different struggles when in a relationship or marriage. In laws can be a struggle and raising kids, as much as they are blessings, can be difficult and overwhelming. Sometimes the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

I met my wonderful boyfriend on a dating site. I believed for a long time that simply looking for a SO was sinful. (I thought looking meant I didn't trust that God would send me my husband) but I'm so glad I met him! A dating app was perfect for me especially because I'm an introvert who doesn't have a big friend group or opportunities to meet people. Like she said if you connect with the wrong person youll know. So don't be scared of meeting the wrong person. That would be my advice!

I found your channel after I saw one of your RU-vid Shorts videos in my feed. As a single Christian man in his late 20s who hopes to be in a relationship and marry one day, it’s good to know that there are still single women out there who follow the morals in Christianity who are looking for “the one.” Your second to last point about enjoying being single is so important. Between being happy in my career and having good family relationships, I’ve been able to enjoy life despite many of the people I know around the same age are getting married and seemingly progressing on the social side of life way ahead of me.

I’m 25 and have been praying and waiting for God to bless me with a relationship. It’s been an on and off battle of being impatient, lonely, and sometimes content. I’m so thankful for this video because I just got finished watching another video from a different channel that was so negative about everything, and yours made me stop and listen to the truth again!

When my ex left me, and I thought she was the one, I felt devastated. I always wanted to marry her, but she always had a reason to hold off on marriage; college, starting her career, establishing herself, etc. But a week into feeling miserable, I started asking "Where are you? I need you." , I was referring to my future wife, and I prayed for her. I hope she's okay, but something tells me she has gone through some suffering too and we need each other.

Lol i love people and pray for all but some people make it really hard 😅. I didn't even give my life to Christ Jesus until after I turned 30. Lost most of my friends over it and stopped dating. Just turned 38 lol still single and praying but in the waiting season I'm focusing on God ALMIGHTY and the Lord and memorizing scriptures and serving God in any way I can. You can serve God going on a walk and praying for people and with random people or handing out water and food to homeless people. So many ways to be out and enjoy life still serving Him. I go to a Christian High School (it’s my last year) and I’ve had a wonderful group of friends. The only problem is… all of them are dating each other so I am the ultimate third wheel 😅 I had a crush on this one guy I was friends with and he ended up dating my best friend. It kinda hurt knowing all my friends were dating except me so going out to like the movies or ice skating was always awkward for me. It’s hard to remember that God has a great man for me but I know He does. I need to put my trust in Him.

I’m a single pringle lady that’s definitely relying on God that in His timing I will meet the man He wants for me. I’ve been struggling with this season of singleness because before I truly gave my life and my everything to Christ. I was ok with moving from guy to guy just so I wasn’t alone. And I hated the idea of being single but God has called me to this season because He wants me and He is healing me with a program from my church and with just taking time to be with Him. Hailey, this video is so needed for me because Lord knows how much I longed for the man he wants for but also the wisdom you are sharing is things I’ve been practicing. Especially when you said “Pray for your future husband and his family” I try to do that and hearing a fellow sister in Christ give advice on this is really encouraging. I know I’m writing a bit of a novel. But I’m so excited about this topic and you remind me of my older sister. She’s definitely my go to when it comes to getting advice from someone of God. The Lord showed me my wife(to be) almost 5yrs ago in a vision. Now am 32yrs old, and am still waiting:). Never even dated before. It tends to be hard to wait sometimes, more so when you see all your friends marrying, but it's always important to know that God has the best. Anyway, I have to admit that she looks beautiful, and hopefully she is beautiful inside too and worth the way. Anyway, I would advise to pray for your future spouse to grow in the Lord, and to be prepared to be a godly husband/wife. A wrong person in your life can easily destroy your life now and your eternal life.

Ladies, I write and lead a lot of Bible studies for young men, showing them how to be a man of God, and I'll give you some of the same advice I give them. There is always frustration in the waiting, but remember that God may have a man lined up for you, He's just still working on him so that when you finally meet him, he'll be prepared to be a godly husband and leader of your family. Please, don't ever settle and choose to be with a man who is not chasing after God's heart. Why forfeit Mr. Perfect for a mediocre consolation prize. In the meantime, have faith and continue to follow in God's ways and grow, because if you're not continually working on yourself and allowing God to transform you, when you meet Mr. Perfect, you have to ask yourself: Is he choosing me because I'll be a godly wife and the perfect match for him, or is he just settling for me? I love you all, my sisters in Christ, and I'll pray that you all find the right man who will keep God at the center of your marriage.

One thing I want to make clear is that we come across a lot of fake and unrealistic things on social media. That is the reason why I do not have major social media accounts like Instagram or TikTok. On these platforms, we see people getting married, engaged, having kids, and whatnot. However, we must not forget that we do not really know what is happening in those relationships. Many people are deeply unhappy, but they tend to post only the good parts of their lives, creating a fantasy that they share with their followers. They do not share the struggles they are going through. I know a lot of people who seem to have picture-perfect lives, but in reality, everything that's going on inside is far from perfect.

Great advice. Will reshape. On a side note: I remember being a 26 year old Christian woman looking for a husband. I'm now a 41 year old Christian woman still looking for a husband. I never thought I would still be like this at this age. And I am not super picky or anything regarding men. There are very few men in my religion so there are always extra single women in most churches but no single men unless they have an actual mental disability. I've got the senior ladies in my church praying with me "to get my husband out of that barstool and into church."

26… man I remember when I was 26 hoping and believing I’d be married eventually.. 2 years passed. Nothing but pain and no prospects within sight.. it’s a rough world out there. I’d say 90% of women my age are now married.. I’ve witnessed all three of my closest friends literally get married within months of one another.. me.. nothing.. each month goes by.. nothing, each year goes by,. Nothing. I’ve almost come to the point of trying to find a way to genuinely accept being single possibly forever.

I think it’s mainly important to be content with the Lord, while you are waiting. We can still be waiting while being impatient if that makes sense…while we are waiting as daughters of Christ we are supposed to be doing things that better us. Like you said to heal, focus on your purpose, exercise, eat better. Find hobbies, enjoy your time with friends/family Even getting involved in church. I say all of this because this is what’s helping me to stay content. While I am waiting, I’m asking God to help me be a good wife to my husband. & to also prepare me. Fasting & prayer are so important while I’m waiting. I’ve gotten involved in church which has helped so much. One of the things that bother me are when people say “marriage isn’t even promised to everyone” like we know that but God does give us the desires of our heart. If you desire marriage it’s because God has given you that desire. ♥️ stay prayed up & encouraged. Our husbands are coming ♥️ Yes, ladies do not let your loneliness lead to desperation. Stay focused. We’ve all been there & all it leads to is heartbreak & tears. It is not worth it. The more you spend time entertaining the wrong people, you are delaying the process of God sending you your husband so it is better to wait on Gods perfect timing. 🥹

There are two the most important things in our lives - the first one is the best and the other is the worst. The best one is to marry a right person, the worst one is to marry a wrong person. Marrying a wrong person can ruin your life. My wife had to pursue me for three years until I said YES. I wanted to know if she was the right one. How do you navigate someone else's feelings towards you when they are not the one, especially when they hangout with people close to you? And how do you handle this in a way that honours you/him/and most importantly God? I'm trying not to ignore/avoid them😅

In my experience God will answer your prayer for a husband/wife when you submit to His will on this issue and find true peace in being single and putting Him first in your life. On the other hand I've seen Christians date selfish Christians and become unequally yoked to non-Christians! Safer to keep praying, don't worry about it and God will provide!

Jesus was single all of His life. Apostle Paul says that it is actually better to stay single for the purpose of His plan. My Pastor told me one day stay married to Jesus.

Hi, I just wanted to comment this but I keep hearing this among Christians and I'm starting to believe perhaps we are the cause of our own frustration. I hear many Christians talking about being single in their 30s some even in their 50s but having the desire to marry. I believe this is because people desire to have the Lord choose their spouse and wait however I don't think people are allowing God to give them the gift of a spouse. Most women have trouble having children around 35 to 40s. Is God able to give us children past our prime, absolutely, however why would that be the case for the majority of woman and men. I think it'd be more accurate to say God would want us to have children when are bodies are actually suted to do so. Not only that but so many people fall into sexual immorality because they wait so long before getting married. I also think some of reasons why people so long is because we are unwilling to grow with people. If Godly character is a blessing in the bible shouldn't that give us a reason to try the process of courting even if personalities are not the same. The reality is the more loving and godly you become the more you will have favor with people. People like to be around those that are pleasant. The fruit of the spirits are joy, peace, gentleness, kindness, self-control, etc. If we enjoy being around Christians tha display God's fruit then why wouldn't it be the same thing in a marriage? I think we need to encourage young people to serve the Lord in their youth but also decide when they want to get married (with God's leading ofc) and go through a process where a man and woman get to know each other with parents involved. No pressure if it doesn't work. And to show young people it is okay to get married young, start a family, and have a companion in theirl life. Plus I think we miss out on many ways God refines us when we postpone marriage unnecessarily. I've found that God has refined me so much living with family because your love, patience, kindness, humility is really tested when you are so close to people and they are watching/impacted by you. If a young person were to move out let's say not because of the negatives of living wth family but from freedom sake, it is so much easier to justify sin, not confess sin, depend on the Lord because their is nor much pressure or immediate consequence for their actions yk. Of course you can have close Christian friends and be in bible study groups but they won't be there with you for thr majority of the week and experience who you are on most day like a spouse or sibling would. For some of these reasons this is why I think getting married young can be beneficial and why we need to do our best to return to some sort of courting. Also I am not taking relationships lightly. A good marriage can be truly do so much good, I think of Eliabeth and Zechariah, Mary and Joseph, the couple mentioned in acts. But a bad marriage as well can destroy two souls and countless others. Think of Jezebel and Ahab. I also think of marriages which showcase the flaws of people, Abraham and Sarah and the whole hagar mess, Job's wife cursing God. The bible gives us so much wisdom on spouses. He who finds a good wife finds a good thing or how marrying a quarreling wife brings much harm to one's soul, but then we also see a proverbs 31 woman and how two people devoted to God(like Mary and Joseph) can bring forth so much beauty. Lastly I wanted to mention how being intentional about getting married and not delaying can lead to men and women being more productive in society. One thing I notice about my generation is that we waste much too much time on social media. Myself included (which I have dedicated I need to work on). We spend too much time scrolling when we could be serving others in person. I remember when Jacob wanted to marry Rachel I believe, he had to work 10 years before she became his wife. Because he had something to look forward to, a companion, a wife to take carry of, possibly a future family, he had a reason to work and not be idle. And what happened to the story of David. His decision to be idle and not obey God allowed him to be somewhere he was not supposed to be, then he was tempted and gave into sin. If he had done what God expected he would have not been tempted that way. I also think it encourages young girls to start thinking more about being a good example for her family, friends, church, etc. It can cause them to start to analyze the relationships around them more accurately and see how much of a blessing is to have God's instruction for our lives so we can enjoy the goodness and be spared of unnecessary pain, guilt and suffering. It can also lead them to start preparing to be a wife and mother and get serious about her faith and witness. Start taking on more responsibilities if they live at home, starting analyzing friendships and distancing, etc. Not only that but if you knew you wanted to be married younger (getting to growup with your love and because biologically it makes sense) you would heed more biblical wisdom. For example the bible mentions that a person in debt is a slave to the one they owe money. Well if that is God's wisdom for us to save us from stress and bandage, you probably wouldn't want to attend a 4 year university that tuition 10 k a year because by the time you're out, you would be in 40k of debt. Perhaps you would attend a community college instead or if college is not the route for you, learn skills that would help you save money in marriage (gardening, sewing, healthy eating, planning cheap activities, making wellness shots, exercising), etc. I've heard people who get married young have more energy for their kids as well and allows them to actual be guided by older couples in the church and live out the teaching in Titus. I wanted to write this because I know many people desire marriage and perhaps to look at it more practically as well. God lead Abraham's servant to Rebecca but he still had to walk. Faith without works is dead. Let's not miss out on blessings because of an ideal that might not be biblical. Serve God and his kingdom, look intentionally for people who exhibit Godly character, get to know them, have parents involved especially if they are good role models and court. If it doesn't work that's okay but let's move past going on one date and not going further because you didn't click the first time. None if us clicked with God until he opened our eyes, he showed us who he is, and we got closer. Keep praying for God's guidance, practice what the Bible teaches, and use your youth to purse love, joy, peace, faithfulness and keep your eye out for that person (proverbs does mention a wife of their youth). Also everyone story is different. God has plans for us all and God might call some people to wait so the can mature more but again, let's not frustrate ourselves waiting 20 years for marriage when God mightve brought you someone you didn't think was your match. God gave Adam Eve not Steve. They were different yet had similarities. Love you all. I hope everyone is starting off the New Year content and joyful in the Lord
