Okay, this is kind of freaking me out. I SWEAR every time I either re-watch this LP and it gets to that note, or replay the game at the part of that, that the first part of the last sentence changes. Like, the first time I remember distinctly noting it as "Now truth sleeps in darkness", then it was "And now truth is asleep", now it shows up as "Ah, now truth is asleep"? That's oddly creeping me out since I had jpeg files of the note screenshot that looked different than that, I swear, lol.
Nah, I have an NA first print copy, and I think Nico's using a ROM of that same one. I moreso meant that like, I swear I'll look at a picture of that note with it saying something, and then later look at the EXACT SAME picture and swear it says something else. actually it's pretty brilliant when you think about it. they keep spamming the number nine at yo u so you wouldn't notice when the death of Santa's sister coincides with the incident Seven was involved in.

Spoilers: There are different kinds of prosopagnosia, and it's not at all how this game described it, after all, we're talking about faces, no haircut, hair color, clothes. It's clear that Ace has the worse kind of prosopagnosia (he can't recognize himself), but he could easily recognize Clover's photo (pink) and Snake using their hair color (white).
SPOILER DONT FUCKING READ IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED THE SERIES Well Ace certainly didn't recognize snake when he pushed the new guy in. If he would have recognized Snake then he would have known that the man he pushed in wasn't Snake.

Did any one else think that maybe each time nico plays thought the game and gets a bad ending that he's really just getting a new person and the person from the last play though had the link they keep going on about and that's how you are are oppose to win the game by playing though a shit ton of times till you get it right and that's why they show you your old chooses? SPOILER POSSIBLY: So I'm sure I'm late as fuck to the party but in the ending where Clover kills June, Seven, Santa, and then Junpei, did Ace take Clover to the number 9 door and use the 9th man's bracelet to escape? 1+8+9=18, 1+8=9. Has this been confirmed or disproved by anyone else, or is it all just speculation? SPOILER OVER****
***SPOILER FOR BAD ENDS*** in the knife and submarine endings, ace is the killer, and that is his plan, yes. that's why lotus dies in those two endings and why her bracelet is missing (the missing bracelet is supposed to be a hint that the killer is ace in the submarine ending. the writer/director confirmed that he was pretending to be dead). in the axe ending (where clover kills everyone), she kills junpei to get his bracelet and try and escape with his, hers, and the captain's bracelet. there is a twist later in the plot though that reveals that she can't actually use the captain's bracelet at a value of 0 (i won't spoil what it is), and the writer/director confirmed that she was unable to escape in that ending after all.
