Makes me jones for Round The Corner pizza and a quick stop at the original pipefitter, Boulder theater and Colorado book store. I graduated from Mesa elementary, Southern Hills Jr high, and finally Fairview High in 1979. If you weren't around then, sorry...you really missed out. Still bop in whenever I'm in town but this ain't '79 anymore. Guess I'm not in Kansas anymore either
Round the Corner had great burgers, not pizza. My bad. Worked at Mr Tomato's (calzones) during high school at Basemar plaza but Roman Village had great pizza. Used to be that DQ on the corner too.
Fall of 79, freshman at CU, my philosophy professor invited students for a weekly FAC philosophy talk over pitchers of 3.2 beer. That's where we got the supplemental curriculum for the students who were actually interested.
I know exactly where you're talking about. It's kind of attached to a mini mall now but it's the original location. Haven't been to Boulder since 2020. Thanks for the update. Trying to make it back this August for my high schools (Fairview '79) 45th 😫 reunion.
@@gregv79 I graduated from Fairview in 79 and just got a postcard about the reunion yesterday. I won't be there, but it should be a hoot. I went to the 30th reunion.
Dude, I just got mine in the mail. Ann M has been trying to get me to go to one for years. Might actually do it this year. How cool.. those were the days. Good times, bad times (you know we had our chance 😆..led Zeppelin).
