Regardless of how iconic the "Eldritch - Adams - Marx - Gunn / Hussey" lineup always will be, from 1990 to 1991 The Sisters were at their peak as a liveband. The shows on the " Vision Thing" tour were incredibly good, and Eldritch was highly motivated as a performer - much more active than in the 80s, and much more focussed and and dedicated one doing a good show then in alter years.
I missed them in concert at this stage. So, I am so glad to find all of these shows posted. The person filming is either dancing or the floor is moving from everyone else enjoying the show... Plus, holding your hand up to film with a bigger "Camcorder" for an entire concert back then, would have meant a heavier, device. Thanks, to whomever for taking the time to capture this... Pretty good sound, and great playset.
We all get old I'm afraid look at the likes of axl rose your vocal chords are like any part of your body just get worn out but atleast we have videos like this as memory's
Was at this gig and to this date, is still the best gig of theirs (and anyones) I’ve had the joy to be at. Missed the Wake gig in ‘85 but reckon this ‘90 show was a pretty close second!
I was at this gig. *_Andreas Bruhn_* was the blonde guitarist, and the other guitarist was Tim Bricheno who had previously been in All About Eve. Of course Tony James was on the bass. TSOM did two gigs in Wembley at this time. Eltritch sported a different haircut on each day - long hair first night, short hair second night. The gigs were on Saturday Nov 24 and *Monday Nov 26. This is the Monday night show.* I was at both shows, but I enjoyed the Saturday show better.
This was my first Sisters gig but unfortunately we were in seats right at the back and all I can remember is all the way through someone in front of us was obviously recording the gig and his arm was up in the air blocking our view and we were well pissed off! Im glad it was video and I can experience it again without the bootlegger tosser!
Drum machines bounce off back walls.Did a gig in a big hall and you have to watch the pulse on the machines.Don't rely on monitors. And don't use phones.
