The strange thing is, nowhere in the Sith code does it state that one has to kill anybody and yet the Sith portray themselves as these great warriors. So is it possible to be a pacifist and adhere to the Sith code? I believe so, 100%. The Sith code can be applied to all aspects of civilian life. It can get you through school, through college and, as you say in the video, it can get you through life via the career you are most passionate about. We are all individuals in this world, some of us go through life alone and others surrounded by loving family and friends. If we choose a life that we are passionate about then we are more likely to be more upbeat and positive, with that positivity spreading out to those closest to us. When compared with the Jedi Code, which seems to want to turn its adherents into mere machines of the system (no emotions, no passions, no chaos) the Sith Code truly is about life and living. The positives of the Jedi Code (peace, knowledge, serenity and harmony) can still be achieved through a life of passion and personal success. In fact one is not achievable without the other. How can one live a peaceful life, of serenity and harmony without first having the passion and the strength needed to achieve one’s goals in life. You can try to live by the Jedi Code but it is not your life you would be living, but the life of another. This is what the first line of the Sith code speaks of: “peace is a lie.” The universe was born from chaos. The only “peace” that is truly attainable is inner peace. External peace is an illusion, for as far back as recorded history goes and further there has not been a single century where war and conflict has not existed. Always humans are finding new ways to wage war and test themselves. At best we learn to co-exist but always at the back of our minds we know that the chaos of war, of change, is there ready to emerge. Even in non-conflict scenarios the working world is chaos. Businesses rise and fall, workers can suddenly become jobless and even homeless. Where is their peace? Their harmony? Their serenity? They need their passion to give them the strength to claw their way back to life. Depression and other mental health issues can make it hard to find our passions and act on them. I myself have depression and it makes you forget what it is you feel passionate about. I mean you might remember but it doesn’t feel the way it used to. So do I try and force myself to feel passionate about it? Or do I try and find some other career/hobby to stoke the dying embers of passion and see if it can reignite the flames again? Tl;dr: the Sith Code isn’t evil in and of itself I wanted to be a writer, to write the next greatest fantasy series and become famous for it. Can the Sith Code help me achieve that dream?
Of course it can help. I focus on my passions and my channel is growing so anything is possible. Still need my job but i enjoy my job so everything works out
I wish I could embrace this properly, I know what I need to do but I do not have the strength to do it, there's too many obstacles and things in the way, and I wish I didn't care
