We could be less than primitive compared to others. Even some microbial life on another world may be more complex than our ancestors were at that point in our evolution. Fascinating stuff to ponder.
@@Lefrog420Blazin Complex life is just a recent experiment by some bacteria. For most of its history, Earth has harboured life, but for most of life's history, it has not been complex life.
yes.. this is because of dark energy. according to a few scientists, dark matter surrounding any object (galaxy) holds it together from getting ripped apart because of dark energy. one day if dark energy looses its limit, it may even rip our atoms (like our electrons away from the nucleus) apart in a jiffy! SCARY!!!

The Creation of the Universe: Allah the Exalted said: Have not those who disbelieved seen that heaven and earth were one solid mass, whereupon We divided them and made all living things of water? Don't you want to believe? (Translation of Sura 21 Verse 30) This verse explicitly mentions the common origin of the entire universe, a fact that was only discovered about forty years ago with the help of "nuclear physics". The separation mentioned in the verse seems to refer to what scientists today refer to as the "Big Bang." Also, as the verse also mentions, all living things are made up of protoplasm, which is 80 to 85 percent water. Allah the Exalted said: Thereupon Allah turned to the sky which was (then) of (formless) smoke (or mist) and said to it and to the earth: "Come here, willingly or unwillingly!" They said: "We come voluntarily". So He (Allah) completed them as seven heavens in two times, and in each heaven He assigned its task. And We adorned the lowest heaven with lights (stars) (which are also) for protection. This is the creation of the Supreme, the All-Knowing. (Translation of Sura 41 Verse 11-12) At the time the Qur'an was revealed, the word "space" was unknown and everything above the earth was called "heaven". The word "smoke" aptly describes the primordial state of the universe, which consisted of hot, gaseous matter whose gaseous particles moved like clouds of smoke. From this matter the stars, the planets and the earth were formed. Allah the Exalted said: We have created the sky (the universe) with (Our) power, and see how We are (constantly) expanding it! (Translation of Sura 51 Verse 47) It is now a generally accepted fact that we live in an expanding universe.
Fun fact : if we could able to travel speed of light it would take 1.3 secods to reach moon 8.2 minutes to reach sun 4.3 years to reach alpha centuri 100 000 years to across milky way 2.5 million years to reach Andromeda 40 billion years to reach edge of observable Universe
@@eu_bebo_oleoJust the “How?” With the profile picture killed me 🤣🤣 because our little sense of significance is obviously laughably embarrassing. And humbling.
@@bjaxflhumbling in what context? Just because something is big doesn't mean the smaller things aren't important. You may want to adjust how u measure value. The eye is smaller than the hand, but we don't go around saying that makes the eye less significant.
*I am in love with Laniakea,* how can something so big be so beautiful and sophisticated in shape? I mean, most giant things are, but this is the only one that looks like something alive WTF
It was all an accident mate. Something came out of nothing, and boom all these beautiful things came into existence, idk how we are able to even find them beautiful. It’s like someone gave us a mind to perceive them as beautiful. Almost as if that person gave us his own conscious/brain to be able to see the way he sees his creation.
Here's a fun fact I read from Parallel Worlds written by Michio Kaku. If the visible universe is as small a subatomic particle, then the actual universe would be much larger than the visible universe around us.
Yeah, a neutron star is basically "what if you turned a whole star into just one atomic nucleus" which makes it very big for an atomic nucleus, but very small for a star
@@brsmaxyeah I didn’t know this exact thing just knew that even though that thing is small compared to out “giant” stars that little neutron star is still fcking massive and packs a mean punch! Didn’t know to that extent tho 😅
@@KeksimusMaximusHe’s not wrong. The Planck length is roughly 1.6 x 10^-35 meters, while the observable universe is roughly 4.4 x 10^26 meters. An average human is about 1.7 meters. You don’t even have to do the math to see that the planck length is several orders of magnitude smaller to a human than the human is to the observable universe Do some research before you accuse other of not
The trippy thing is that it goes the opposite direction as well. In fact, the size of the human is almost at the exact logarithmic center between the Planck length and the size of the observable universe.

Observable means something that we’ve reasonably observed. It may or may not be close to the actual. Perhaps humanity will never ever come to a point when the universe is fully understood
Fun fact: There could be “alien” life out there trying to contact us *right now* but because they’re so far away (potentially a few light years), we wouldn’t know about it until it’s already happened (so, in the future).
@@DanielHobson-yi7rh We already have made contact, more so they made it with us whether by accident or circumstance but we have. @@jackmrsich3178Well you can….it’s just pointless at that point because the numbers you would get in miles or km would be complete bonkers…they’d be so large it’s practically nonsensical. You can figure it out but your calculator may be limited on calculating such large numbers. A light year is just the distance it takes for light to travel in one year in a vacuum which is roughly 9.46 trillion km or 5.88 trillion miles.
There comes a point where the human brain cannot even comprehend how big something is. I can hardly even picture how big our solar system is, and to this that is not even a tiny speck, unobservable to the universe at large, that thought is unimaginable.
That's why I believe that at least mid to long term we might need to pick the transhumanism route. We're both extremely capable and incredibly restricted by our biology. Makes me remember Cavil's speech from BSG: "I'm a machine... and could I know much more, I could experience so much more, but I'm trapped in this absurd body!"
Imagine you walk out one night, and you notice all the stars in the sky vanish one by one until complete blackness. Oddly, the lawn gnome next to you levitates up before crumbling into fine pieces that raise up into the air. Your body is feeling light as if you're flying in a dream. You begin to feel a tugging sensation in your upper body that quickly becomes unbearable until suddenly..................................................
@@keepitclean8791It is both, actually. A light year describes the distance a light photon travels in one year. At a speed of 186,282 miles per second, that distance is approximately 5.88 trillion miles.
The fact that ton 618 is relatively as dense as that 20km diameter neutron star, which in turn has exponentially more gravitational pull than the sun, kinda gives an estimate to ton 618's power.
If you use the Google window zoom feature and zoom into the Observable Universe pic 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times, you can spot that banana lying on the ground! 😃
And girls when they hear the line that we are lucky to have bumped into each other in such a large universe consider it as a weak pick-up, when in fact it is a real miracle
@@firewizzard86 Haha! No, far from it. But I like to terrorize myself with the thought of what cosmic beings might be living out there in all that empty space...
I know nobody can visualize the vastness of space, but I think after watching a lot of the videos, I get scared looking up because I think about these vids and it terrifies me, like a true fear.
A neutron star is less than a pin prick in comparison to our sun yet the power it holds dwarfs that of the sun simultaneously - what a bizarre and fascinating object
Dude, the hubble’s law literally says that universe is forever expanding equally in all directions. It can’t just rip us apart randomly, that’s impossible
what's craziest to me is that the Burj khalifa is so large you could almost see it as like an ant on the entire scale of earth. Makes the world seem smaller than I realistically imagined
Well at least we're not at the bottom of the food chain on this vid. Also can we appreciate the Cameraman running so quickly backwards so we can see the observable universe?
@@arcguardian That's not a 'tiny and insignificant problem'. This guy wasn't talking about exact comparisons. He is in no way trying to dismiss cancer as being small.
@@arcguardiannope, but I'm sure you'll find something to complain about anyway. BTW people with the cansuh get free dr*gs anyway, so how do you know if they're complaining?
The most surprising thing in this video is Laniakea only being 100 times wider than the largest known galaxy. Puts in perspective how insanely huge that galaxy is.
Because it’s wrong, IC1101 is about 500k ly diameter and Laniakea is about 500m ly. Actually i had to double check because 1000x still sounds like a small ratio of a single galaxy to a supercluster but it shows ic1101 is a beast (it maybe used to be estimated even bigger but I don’t think even the old estimate could get you to 1/50 of Laniakea)
The craziest thing to me is, no matter how you scale these objects to another The human brain cannot fathom the sheer vastness and size of these space objects and space itself!
fun fact: the neutron showed really early in the video and seemingly pretty small compared to sun is actually way heavier than many of the normal red stars cuz of its density. its just a big ball of dense iron
