As an autistic person, the autism speaks collaboration makes me cringe so hard. I understand that it was done with the best of intentions, but a lot of autistic people dislike autism speaks for a number of reasons. (The often overly negative way they speak about autism and autistic people, their former support of the vaccines cause autism conspiracy, their usage of funding to look for a “cure” for autism, the “I am autism” video (it’s available on RU-vid) which many find offensive, their lack of autistic employees, and that’s just a few examples. Some go as far as to call them a hate group because someone of the stuff they’ve said/done is straight up offensive and disturbing.) (Of course, not speaking for all autistic people here, it’s just a very widespread viewpoint that I’m sharing)
Vince genuinely loves and care about his kids, and they too enjoy making content. They are the only passionate family RU-vid channel left. Although their current content is staged sometimes, they still enjoy it. You can tell Vince cares by what he did for his kids back then.
Yea I grew up watching them I cant believe some people think he exploited his kids for views. Those people probably didn't watch any of his recent stuff

18:30 so fun fact about the Giants one: the characters names eventually just become "." and "," and other weird stuff which is not possible to name the Skylanders and I don't know why they did that
I remember going to the museum of play and seeing some of those prototype Skylanders in person! Got to see the Karo’s figure along with the original beta toys from World of Spyro and a display of how the Skylanders were made. I didn’t know they were there so when I went there with some online friends I kinda embarrassed myself and was so over the moon about them to my non Skylanders friends lol. I cherish that trip a lot, a very fun place i highly recommend
In skyalnders giants on the wii (not sure about other versions) the icon to show how much money you have in shooter sections like secret vault of secrets and autogyro adventure is represented by a coin from super mario rotated 90°. I've never seen anyone else bring this up
Here's some stuff that is either missing certain facts or really needed better writing. - Donkey Kong and Bowser were also released in their own double packs with their vehicles sometime between wave 3 and wave 4 of superchargers. - The last sentence for the imaginators on switch section “unlike other nintendo ports…”. This line should've been cut out. A port is usually used for when the exact same game is released on a different (in most cases, new) console. Example: Skylanders giants was ported to the Wii U a month after the game was already released on every other console. Using the 3ds games as an example of a “port” is incorrect since they are completely different games compared to the console versions. - Skylander boy and girl had a majority of its content removed in July of 2023. Although a lot of the videos are back, a good amount are missing. Such as the very first video where Mike was showing off his collection. It's worth pointing this out since the channel had a big impact on the popularity of skylanders and now some parts of its history are now missing. it was mentioned that we could help in the finding of the lost files for superchargers on mobile, so this should've been mentioned as well. - The dragon cannon, golden dragon cannon, scorpion striker catapult, fiery forge, and arkeyan crossbow magic items also light up when placed on the portal. As well, the traps also light up when the villain is speaking. Yes technically not lightcores, but since expansion pieces, giants, and creation crystals were mentioned. Shouldn’t these be as well? - Forgot the xbox 360 spyro adventure console bundle that came with the green gill grunt chase variant. - “They were both released in later waves as adventure packs and more people buy single packs than adventure packs”. Whether or not this is true, it should be noted that robow and wild storm were some of the final characters released. Many people stopped caring about the series by that point so they probably didn't even know they existed. Likely resulting in poor sales. - I believe the section about “trap masters as giants” should've been “trap masters in giants”. Snap shot was also originally going to be in giants as a core character and given the name bullseye. - Crash Team Rumble also had a Skylanders reference. Broccoli guy's music was an unlockable music track, and one of the hats has the undead element symbol on it (this one is a bit of a reach). Those are the ones I can find. There are more things that could've been worded better and there was a lot of rambling that should've been cut out. As well certain facts that were already mentioned (Trap team console bundle and tony hawk skylanders references) were brought up again later on. I'm pointing out all of this because it shows a problem with these types of videos you make. When making a video with so many different stories and fun facts, doing your research is very important. As it prevents you from missing certain information or getting something wrong without even knowing. Bear in mind, it's completely normal to get something incorrect and not find certain things. Everyone makes mistakes no one's perfect. But with how consistent you are with both, it just seems like you don't care and have no motivation to improve because no matter what you still get views and ad revenue from it. (Im aware that some of this isn't your fault as the people you worked with might've done there own research, But your still publishing this to your channel, you should at least fact check what your collaborators are saying) Although credit where credit is due, with this one it appears to not be as bad compared to the other compilations videos you've made. As well, the fact you've made so many and they all look so similar. Don't make any of them stand out. If your goal is to make basic, simple, and easy money content. Then fair enough you accomplished that. I just don't see what makes “The Skylanders Iceberg” any different to the other ones you've talked about. Tdlr: Do your research and double check your work before uploading. Also slow down with the big hour long fun facts videos. I'm not trying to be mean or rude. okay lmao you do know most of the stuff at the top is stuff adding to our topics, try cranking out an ice berg with 90+ entries and make each segment have complete detail without exceeding an hour. its just not possible, as for the others i wasn't able to see what they were cooking, i was responsible for my stuff which i believe i did good on, i got the help from several trusted sources in the community so i'm not worried, but i will stand up for the pookies. parts of this were definitely rushed and there may been lack of communication (all of our faults) one of the only main critiques is how we didn't go into enough detail on some entries, fair enough, as its something i wanted to do from the very beginning. but its hard to do something like that 90 times. and its not like no one here didn't do no research at all, and we also showed things i'm sure you probably didn't know about. so it wasn't a waste of time, in all this, we all learned something and it was fun to do! if you think you could do better i still have my original iceberg picture if people want to have at it.

Everyone makes mistakes, but it’s important to point out this kind of stuff to prevent misinformation from spreading and the full story can be presented without anything being missing.
I'd say that the Fortnite copies Skylanders is HEAVILY debatable because you could also say that both copied Metroid for having a similar capsule. The fact Fortnite also nearly had a Samus skin means they probably already had Metroid somewhat in mind.
This iceberg should've included Kaos' real parents. One time, I watched a different Skylanders iceberg video, and the entry is about the alleged family portrait in the final level of Skylanders Giants. Kaos' real parents turned out to be Kaos but with different accessories.
About the Volcanic Vault, here in Portugal I got mine from participating in a skylanders spyro's adventure pvp tournament, lost in my first round, still took a volcanic vault home
Down in the south where I live we had a giant starter pack for the Wii that came with a orange controller and nunchuck that had tree Rex on the controller
Is this real? I remember the controllers, but they were sold separately, at least the one with bouncer-fright rider was, and the orange Xbox with tree Rex pop fizz too. But I’ve never heard of this one?
i feel like it was obvious that skylander boy and girl was a genuine channel tbh. he went above and beyond to make his kids happy and if you keep up with their family on insta its very clear that the kids love their dad a lot and dont feel like they were "extorted" in any way
I didn't know spyros adventure was on PC, I wonder how that would work Also I wish they'd give Skylanders the Disney Infinity treatment on PC where you don't need the figures and you pick Skylanders from a menu, similar to the switch version but less lefty righty and more Lego game style

Hi so I have a small question about the mobile games, i just looked since i recall having quite a few of them, and looked at my Apple ID, and sure enough between all my family’s id’s there is a lot listed but un downloadable, so what should I do? Should I contact one of those people on discord? Also I’ll be specific on what games, lost islands, cloud patrol, battleground, creator.
