Thank you for sharing the beautiful buildings that have been built. Having lived in two big cities, I enjoy looking up at the beauty of the steel and glass settings. With the sun reflection, many buildings are even more gorgeous to look at in the morning and beginning evenings.
intresitng omission that the 860-880 Lake Shore Drive Apartments in CHICAGO actually came first before the Seagrams building, the Rohe buildings in Chicago look way better than the mediocre one in NY.
I love these buildings so much. It's funny because I didn't really like the "boxy" buildings, but these beauties stood out. Haha, I always fight with myself wondering if the black one or the bluish one looks better.
Crap. I dislike the support columns being behind the windows. Wasted window space. And no set backs make the plazas windy and unusuable. These kind of buildings all look the same and bland. Yuk.
"Naked steel and transparent glass speak for themselves" and I think they've said enough. Every skyscraper looks like this thing and they're all just as dull. Yuck.
