I'm old enough to remember when we couldn't wear blue jeans to school and now you see people in their pajamas in restaurants and out shopping.

When I was a teen I used to give my family dog raisins and used them as training treats several times, and i had no idea they are toxic to dogs. She seemed totally fine though and lived long after that. My family didn’t take care of animals well so i had little guidance in this area and i treated her the best out of everyone I only learned this long afterward. 😢I now look up every single thing i give to my dog

Pumps, I gave my dog grapes too (before my dog friends told me they were bad for dogs). So I"m here for you. I guess we could start a support group if you like.😃

I'm from a university town with a significant medical program where scrubs and/or pj's, in public, are the norm, not the exception, and it's Devine! It's taken all the air out of my once, semi-obsessive, unattainable drive for external perfection before stepping foot outside the door. Also, I was fortunate enough to grow up waaay out in the country where our cats and dogs could run free, unleashed and they ate everything known to man without ever getting sick, lol. And finally, I've carried an insulated drink container with me for years (varied brands) for many reasons, one of which being that, I'm the only person who uses it. Only my lips have ever touched it. I know exactly how thoroughly it has been cleaned/sanitized, and I'm just finicky about what and how I want my beverages. To me it's a very comforting luxury to always have access to a spillproof, insulated drink of my choice lol. In any case, 'i simply adore' this podcast and both of you Ravishing Goddesses! Please never stop showing women what truly authentic, courageous heroes look like! Thank you for your fine example and know that you are well-loved and always being supported with every good wish for yourselves and all you hold dear... ❤❤❤❤

I love Jen but oh my goodness! who has the money to keep buying water when you’re out and about every few hours?? Water cups do not suffice. Having a huge water bottle is the best thing in the world, I’m never thirsty, skin is always glowing, never dehydrated with a headache or worrying if the place I have to buy water from only has Dasani or Aquafina loll! If we really think about it, it’s just someone with a drink. Also who cares what people wear, clothes are literally pieces of cloth on flesh bodies.. we do realize that we literally made this all up right??! Lol. Im with pumps on these two things big time. If your society raised you to think tuxedos were PJs and slides and sweatpants are fine attire, Jenn would be advocating for the opposite. My point is, we made this shit up. It has no meaning, and it’s based in classism. I KNOW JENN ISNT CLASSIST and that’s not what I’m saying at all, I’m just saying that us giving meaning to clothing like this first began with classism when people wanted to differentiate themselves from poorer people who couldn’t afford certain cloth. I think young people just realize that dressing up is purely performative and made up. Clothes should be comfy and functional, the hell am I going to the AIRPORT all dolled up for? Weirdly, I'm seeing a reversal of the trend ... half the people on the fucking train are listening to shit on their phones without headphones in these days. And most of them are young. It's so obnoxious. I blame airpods. Everyone bought a pair, immediately lost them, and then never thought, hey, maybe I should get the ones with cords that attach so that doesn't happen again. I usually try to ignore it because otherwise I'd be getting in fights every 10 minutes but last summer I'd really had it. The train was packed and ended up stalling for 15 minutes. These two people were listening to some obnoxious viral video in which the person was repeating the same phrase over and over. Could not keep my annoyance to myself and told them they needed to turn it off. Loudly but reasonably politely. Sometimes you just have to embarrass people into behaving.

Jeans were verboten in my house, my mother would have died to see me in jeans ; “like a ranch hand..” Very déclassé! Now the youth, they emulate televisions role models like; Modern Family or The Real Houswives of Beverly Hills and mainly, it seems The Kardashian’s ( who incidentally have their own Brand of Jeans). Omg how can u not immediately google what to give your dog? This is so upsetting. Of course we go nuts hearing about animals. Thry suffer in silence bc of stuff like this. U saying hes fine hes not dead whatever thats bc they dont just kill over from that. It damages there kidneys. It causes organ damage SLOWLY and LATER. Also if u use a simple google search u would know that dogs r also not supposed to have ice. Om a hot day it will literally cook them like a turkey. When ur pet os chipped & u r irresponsible and somt care enough to call back rhry list the pet as needing a home in a shelter y the dog grives itself to death looking for its home or owner no matter how bad its human is. Idk if u have ever seen a dog in a shelter when thry lose their owner they won't eat or play they stare at the wall.
