The sloping church of St. Peter of Alcantara built 1756/59 (patron Jan František Larisch). After the start of hard coal mining in Karviná, 27 seams with a total thickness of approximately 50 meters were mined under the church from 1854, and the church began to tilt. The decrease caused the inclination of the church by 6.8 ° (or 7 °) south of the vertical axis, which is very clear. The decline of the church due to the decline of the land in 2011 was about 37 meters.
