KJV Holy Bible, Mini Pocket Bible - Zippered Black Faux Leather Bible w/Ribbon Marker, King James Version The Smallest Bible on Amazon: Mini Pocket Bible - Zippered KJV by Christian Art Publishers
I don't understand why all Bibles don't come with zippers! I guess that might increase the price too much. But at least for the smaller ones like this, that will be thrown in a purse or backpack or pocket.
Some people do not like zippers on bibles, they do not allow room for tabs or inserts and for me personally there's not enough space for me to functionally use it how I want to.
@@IdratherbeinHobbiton They are very hard to find for smaller Bibles. You end up with a bigger/bulkier case that not only defeats the purpose of a smaller Bible you can easily carry, but that makes your Bible slide around and get damaged that way.
keeping it in the car may damage the binding over time due to expansion and contraction of the glue and pages at different rates. Take it out of the car if you're going to park it in the sun or high humidity and take with you. Take it inside the house when you get home.
@@begood4786 I know your comment is from 9 months ago but in the King James, New King James, and Modern English versions do no remove verses. But other versions like the NIV ESV NASB 2020 CSB etc. take verses out.
Guys its simple , there are two resources for the bible , the majority text (or byzantine/textus receptus) which makes 95% of the manuscripts we have and they all agree with each other , those are the manuscripts the KJV and the NKJV use , and the second is the alexandrian (like the codex sinaiticus) which make 2-4% of the manuscripts we have and they are the manuscripts that remove verses like John 7:53-8:11 and they are the manuscripts that the NIV ESV NASB CSB etc use , they use them because they are dated to the 3-4th century which is earlier than the 5th century majority text , now me honestly I don’t see much difference between them but I would choose the majority text (KJV and NKJV) because the manuscripts match , the alexandrian manuscripts don’t really match each other :)
I ordered the Catholic version of a zippered travel binder from Amazon, but returned it. It was more expensive ($35) but I knew that before I purchased it. What I didn’t like was that the print was very small and not as sharp as this one appears to be. Also, there were pages wasted on family tree that nobody is likely to need in a travel Bible. I would have preferred those pages be eliminated, or used for maps. Anyway, I’m going to order this one, as I want a zippered bible that I can carry in my backpack without the pages being torn or crushed. Thank you for the review!
@@JustFollowJesus it'll be my new travel buddy, specially on multi day hikes 😊 having the ability to have the Word of God with you always is a blessing. I have a Bible app on my phone, but there's nothing like having the good ol fashion paper, ink and leather 😊 thank you for making this video, not sure how I found it, but I'm glad I did!
I got mine and the only complaint I have is that I ordered the one WITH the zipper and got one that the zipper was not there, I still like the Bible very much and don't mind that it lacks a zipper.
Best way is to have a known good one and check it. Many modern kjv bibles have started to be corrupted due to it not being under copyright and book makers being able to change things. Seems some of them make words like Spirit lowercase or change the spelling or arrangement of words. Usually the rule of thumb is kjv the one that has everything but with the way to world is its not a bad idea to check your Bible for things like that or get an old one somewhere cheep. It's the most sold book in history so you can find them everywhere.
@@noahpaulette1490I have this bible but when I get a chance next time I go over to my parents house I will compare it to my mom's bible which is 30 years old and then grandparents KJV which is over 80 years old.
@missbeehaven2023 99.9% chance if it's labeled a kjv it's fine. In hindsight my statement of "many" is an overstatement. If you see something that doesn't seem right or when you buy a new one it couldn't hurt to check it against an old one.

@@JustFollowJesus From the looks of it, I think it is too after some research. I realized some high quality KJV compact bibles are no better than lower cost KJV bibles. Thank you
@@NorCalGospelHerald if I recall I’ve had someone recommend the royal ruby KJV to me before, it may be worth a look www.thekjvstore.com/kjv-royal-ruby-standard-text-bible/
@@JustFollowJesus I saw a video earlier of a TBS royal ruby text bible with a leather cover. The guy in the video explained he had paid $45 on sale and within two weeks of using it, it started to rip in between the pages.
FYI: Printed in China Edit: If you engage in deals with any business in China, by default, you’re simultaneously doing business with the Chinese Communist Party. Which means Christian Arts Publishing is also doing business with the Chinese Communist Party. You have been warned, brothers and sisters.
@@batmaninc2793 Unfortunate it may be but pretty much everything is made in China nowadays, There's some things made in South Korea or Japan or Vietnam but most stuff I would say is Chinese made unfortunately.
@@FrederickTheAnon14W Gravely unfortunate. Thanks to the debt, too. However, we owe the people, not the communist party. When the latter is gone, then, we can pay them the debt we owe; I say.
@@batmaninc2793 Unfortunately as I said almost everything is made in China in today's world, From the vehicles we drive to Bibles to some of the food we eat, I don't like it either but if the bible is accurate and not changed and the quality is at least decent then I wouldn't mind, Trying to avoid stuff made in China is impossible and I've tried to look up or find Bibles not made in China and I have not found anything at this time.
