Rmcoo's base was so nicely generated, both the gold and stone were in the back protected by the TC, and the decision to go galley first to bait out the fire, and already having the demo's prepared. Just beautiful all around. Jon really just a few major mistakes, the fishing ships not working being a big one and the map gen making the hunting problematic. Combined with forward resources that are easily raided and yeah, he had little chance to catch up.

I think the fishing ships period were a mistake. Rmcoo just didn't bother collecting food at one point because why bother? Fast galley was pretty much the only way to win that game.

He went galleys because he was a minute faster to feudal so he had time to get 6 out, and they beat fires when massed. Plus they can also harass land better.

I think it could've been useful if JonSlow had placed a tower on his island near the center of the map. Protected by a dock even, so it can be closer to the shore, with villagers garrisoned for extra arrows.

Feudal rush seems like that way to go, for sure. Booming = Death. An early tower or two can cover a lot of area, especially on islands.

The fishing ships not clicked onto the fish is a hitbox bug. Pathing and hitbox issues are still not fixed.

Think the maps need to be a tad bigger. This size creates really short games that rarely make it to castle age, but still entertaining.

It's 2023, T90. There's no problem if they want to touch their docks together. They can touch each other's docks all they want. Just accept them for who they are and stop living in the past.
