the download files OMG one macro shot is an 18MB Jpeg, it has obviously been upscaled using something like topaz Photo AI, it looks like a 2mp image that may have even been cropped then upscaled...
I was totally thinking the same thing. The Q10 and Q7 just never caught on stateside, but they are actually a decent little 12.4 MP mirrorless camera - even if you buy them used nowadays. I own three of them. Plus, you can use different adapters to use Micro 4/3, d-mount, c-mount, etc. Even though they're about ten years old, I'd trust Pentax over a camera that is just rebranding the old "Yashica" name.
Pentax Q system was regular camera system with proper sensor, autofocus lenses, IBIS and other things. This "Yashica" is worse than most kid cameras or 15 years old phone cameras.
No longer in production, but one can get a Nikon 1V3 mirrorless from the used market. It is physically about the same size as the ugly little box. However, it is 18 Mpxl on a 1-inch chip, has autofocus & manual interchangeable lenses from 10mm to 100mm (including zooms), built-in flash, a real hot shoe, TTL flash, and an adapter that allows the use of any Nikon F-mount lens. - I shot the 2017 eclipse at totality on mine using the F to N1 adapter with a Nikkor AFS 300mm lens for the equivalent focal length of 816mm. - The claim of smallest miroorless camera is BS as is the cheesy concept.
given their previous camera (the absolutely shameful Y35) why would anyone put any money towards their latest kick starter (as well anyone with a GM1 or 5 or a GF1 through to GF6, Nikon 1, and the Pentax Q laughs heartily at their statement of it being the smallest interchangeable lens mirrorless camera )
With the death of affordable point n shoot cameras, this unfortunately seems to be only modern affordable option available. The next best thing is easily >1kUSD.

Disgusting. Basically webcam with interchangeable plastic "lenses" and mock-up EVF shaped plastic box on top. 6x crop sensor claimed to be 1/2.33 12Mpix, but looks like basic 15 years old webcam output. I have no idea how stupid somebody must be to pay more than $20 for this. For $300 I can buy nice M4/3 camera with lens like 2nd hand Olympus EPL-7 + 14-42/3.5-5.6 + 40-150/4-5.6
Wow. Seems like a cheap cashgrab. I really like you mate, and this is not a bad video... But, this camera is shit. Why are you talking about it? I'm here for videos where you talk about theory and art and the EOS Elan video, things like that. Yeah. Didn't want to sound so harsh, but I need to be honest.
