This company is super cool! They asked users for feedback last year, and I got lucky and won a set! BK worked amazingly well, and I'm definitely gonna buy a full set when they're officially released.
The 3+1 set is £222 which I think is a decent price if you are in the market for some alarms. It is also annoying that a review video of this produce doesn't mention the price
I won a set a while back. I personally think they're great. The built in battery and 5 port usb is genuinely handy. Nothing worse than the battery dying and having to faf around changing it, providing youve got a spare with you. So long as its not raining you can charge them in place.
Look very cool overall, pretty pricey though. I think the "ears" could be a lil bit taller for the price, or even just extendable should you need them for snags etc. Phones aren't really my thing(i don't even have a phone of my own!) but looks very handy for those that do.
A phone app on a bite alarm ,a great idea as your sat only 6 feet away from your rods,do you really need all that crap .Different tones and led colours for drop backs and full takes ,think I’ll look at my swingers to see what’s happening .I’ll stick with my bullet proof Attx and tlb alarms ,very little to go wrong .Carp market is swamped with gimmick buzzers these days .
It is a great idea as if you forget your reciever or the batteries die and you have no spares you can still use your phone 👍🏻 It can also be a help to ppl who arnt very mobile (no pun) if they forget to change the sensitivity before getting In the sack! Think about other who are fully able
They appear in this review to be the perfect bite alarm, simple with the ability to adjust everything from the app is great. I wouldn't go white personally on the reciever as it would mess with my head it not matching the alarms 😅
I'll stick with my ND N1 alarms! These look old and just grandad like! Just like sonik with their rebranded hirisi bite alarms! Try innovate rather than slightly improve! Admittedly the app looked polished compared to new directions
@MD yeah the new budget ones are exactly the same as the hirisi ones that had the v on the front for bite indication! Sneaky sonik and I couldn't recommend new direction bite alarms as they are jam packed with features and can link to bivvy light, headtorch, watch alarm receiver and phone plus more
@JM416 yeah ive had mine since they came out well over 6 months if not a year! I did have a problem with one of my batteries but had a new one within 3 days of me sending first email so one of the best customer services I've ever dealt with! Unlike bash which is non existant
Now if im honest i am a big Fox alarm fan and stand by the fact. Ive had Fox alarms for years in all weathers with no issues, but i would definitely give these a go on my 2 rod set up. Great video and im impressed with the product
@@totaldarkness91GE1 tbh ive had mine freeze over too, thats the downfall to the roller wheel, but atleast they defrost and still work, unlike some. Ive also found the nash alarms dont freeze as easy as most alarms do.
I've had Fox alarms for over 20 years, never let me down so far but i've never had any of the high end versions, just the normal microns. I do miss not having the different drop back sound though, maybe i'll splash out on some of the better ones soon.
White is better to find at night and if you drop it in long grass, good idea. Having said that a tarty camo version would be nice too….completely contradicting everything I just said…Lol. Very interesting. Liking the app and the switch on light to find the receiver. I thought you meant you could use your mobile as a receiver instead. Frankly I don’t know why we don’t do that more with alarms. It saves the cost of the extra receiver. If you phone is the receiver through Bluetooth and you can change everything from an app why do you even need a receiver apart from back up if your phone battery went?
There has been talk of a white receiver...just been on the website and they now do a colour option for sounder box and heads..black, white or pink....YES PINK!!! What the absolute f**k🤣
glad the 1st review i find for these is from a trusted source, gonna get these now after watching this, saw them on fb earlier but thought they were ali baba. glad i checked.
I've had mine 4 weeks. And used a few times. These alarms are intermittent and I have missed takes.... Stay away from these until the reliability is sorted out... Just my experience....
Love my NDs, dropped one in lake at night and 8 hours later when I got it out it still worked and has done ever since, cannot fault them, plus no cost of batteries just charge and go, brilliant alarms
Can they be charged while using them and can the battery be replaced in the bite alarm as a rechargable battery dont last forever. Also when connected to your phone does it work the same as a receiver when you get a bite on the alram does it go to the phone too.
Can I set the alarms to sound through my phone rather than the alarms or receiver? I want this facility because I have hearing aids linked to my phone so the alarm would sound direct in my ears but no one else would hear it.
They go in the bin once the battery has died, yeah.. really good bit of kit this. Going by this review and majority of comments just cements my thoughts that the average carp angler out there is not to bright.
one thing that would make these worth while buying is when you get a bite or a take you get the same response on the phone, a plus to this would be you don't necessarily need the reciever.
