There is no camera bump in the future. Current pricing of the RedMagic 9 Pro here: na.redmagic.gg/pages/redmagic... I enjoy gaming phones, since its usually the smartphones built for gaming, like this RedMagic 9 Pro where we see new technology, and designs, really shine.
This RedMagic 9 Pro has a built in RGB Turbo fan that spins at 22,000 RPM to cool down the internal processor. It also has a headphone jack AND 80watt charging AND an under screen camera. (5th generation) And no camera bump on the back.
If this is what the future looks like - I'm all for it.
To win one of the 2 non-damaged Red Magic 9 Pro's in this video just leave any comment on this video - and Ill pick 2 (two) Random winners in the next 7 days. The winners will be notified publicly with a response on their comment from my verified RU-vid channel.

Hey ! I was wondering if you could shine a light (you'll get that pun later) on the touchbar flickering issue in after updating typically to sonoma. One temporary fix for it has been to shine a flashlight at the ambient light sensor; once the touchbar goes to its highest brightness it'll often stop, but take away the light and it'll go back down. Seems to be a software issue but would be helpful to see if you could find any permanent solution ! :)

I've been far more "excited" over S24 Ultra than any of the last 4-5 iPhones I've owned? It feels like MY phone, not an iPhone I've "rented" from Apple until they release a new one. The customization options are insanely granular, allowing users to customize just about anything within Android. The beauty is that customization is purely optional and by no means required. I was blown away by the options to customize the keyboard alone. My only regret is not switching earlier. 🤦

I really like the seamless/flat design of it. I think the bump on the flash is to prevent the flash from lighting up the glass for the cameras and causing huge bloom. For the teardown video, could you mention about the ergonomics of holding it? Like does it feel super heavy when holding it one handed, and if the corners are sharp?

I really enjoined this one, I actually think this phone is the first one i’ve seen in your videos without flaws! I like the unveiling the hidden camera. you are really better at answering my questions then others. I do not find a lot of people make things as easy to understand. Im a abbott watcher of your channel( although I do not know why It keeps being dubbed over In foreign languages though(?)) Thank you for making these videos. I look forward to seeing more In the future, New Year’s plan watch more of them! Happy Holidays to you and your family!

I love the look of this phone. I'm glad companies are going back to flat faced screens instead of curved ones. I've been using a pixel 6 pro and i've grown to loathe the curved screen. This phone could be a front runner for my next device. Great videos as always, and Happy New Year.

That's a seriously impressive phone - The under screen sensors are truly a generation ahead, and I'm going to look for some benchmarks and details on the cooling system. Thanks for another wild and interesting video Jerry!

I absolutely love the idea of hidden front camera. Overall this phone does look nice. What is missing here is some sort of docking station for this phone so it could be used as "desktop", at least in some form. Modern phones do have enough power to be used as such, it would be really nice.

I still use Asus 7 Pro with a flip-able camera module and it is the best solution. No notch or hole in the screen. Main camera, which is always way better than front-facing camera in any phone, acting as a selfie camera. Wide-angle camera is very useful when you want to take a selfie with a large group of people. And flash light is also available. Moreover flip-able module allows to take a panorama photos very quickly and reliable, it scans around in less than 2 seconds. And last, but not least, sometimes I rotate camera module by just 45 degrees to conveniently take a photo of tall buildings or a photo from below. Shame that the concept never became popular and it is completely abandoned now.

couldn't you just use a samsung dex for that? It's an android phone, it probably supports dex.

It will be interesting how long it takes for the more major companies to integrate under screen front facing camera's, and how they will look, but I'm sure you'll cover them for us! Keep up the good work!

Okay, the no camera bump thing actually made my jaw drop. I can't believe the amount of stuff they could fit inside this phone, meanwhile other brands keep removing features like headphone jacks because "there is no space". Although I'm not sure I'll upgrade to this in a good while since I have the redmagic 8 pro and, as this test showed, it's really sturdy! I can tell it's gonna last many many years.

That perfect block shape they have is the feature I didn't know I wanted until I saw this. Kudos for Redmagic for continuing to innovate despite the other phone companies becoming more risk-averse when it comes to developments like this.

It's poorer photo quality wasn't too huge of a deal, either. It is a front facing camera after all, which is more of a "secondary" camera, anyways, which nobody uses to take "high quality" photos. For the purpose of face recognition, making a quick video call, or making a funny face with a friend, it's perfectly capable.

Great review as always. That pretty much invisible front-facing camera is actually insane. also the design looks super cool and durable as hell. the only drawback is that it's a super thick phone but it's a gaming phone with a cooling system, so that's impressive because there's no external cooling system like ROGs (I don't remember which one lol)

I usually don't like brick phones but this one's design is freaking awesome! I love how the phone resembles like a starship, and it has this like mecha-ish design on its back.

if I can get this phone's design combined with something like the xiaomi 14 ultra's camera power, I would be veryyyy happy because my xiaomi 14 ultra's camera bump is a little annoying but I can put up with it (only for so long)

I really hope more manufacturers adopt the 'no camera bump'. This makes phones look crazy good. Also, the all screen front makes it look like something from star trek. Very slick.

No bump on the back is nice, but putting the front camera under the screen may degrade the quality of the picture since the light has to penetrate through the AMOLED layer.
