I just love that they made a new album 2 months ago and then have new unreleased songs! It gives me continued hope for another album not too long from now! So blessed to be alive for all of this! Keep up the good work men!
We said the same after the last album and they needed two years. Ill think we have to wait minimum another year for the next album due to thier perfectionism
Was there in the middle front barrier and this was one of the best things ever. Especially when Thom started vibing and the place went nuts. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you soooooo much for posting this 👍
Stanislav's back at the front again 😃 This is an amazing new one. Sounds like it has evolved over the last week. Love to hear this with the an orchestra track.
Dude thank you so much! By far my favourite song among the new unreleased ones. It was nice talking to you yesterday as well! ~ Italian dude behind you in the queue
Was at the concert last night, so glad someone got a quality video. Do you have any other whole songs from that night? Would especially appreciate Bending Hectic
I'm not the killer Don't get me started I'm not the villain Choose someone else And you don't get to The thinnest silence Don't pull me backwards Well you don't get to And your force means nothing And your force means nothing And your force means nothing And your force means nothing Well you don't get to Don't get me started (You don't get to) (You don't get to) (You don't get to) And your force means nothing And your force means nothing And your force means nothing Well you don't get to
Yeah, I feel the same. Though Manchester was great, with new material too. After decades of trying to see Radiohead, Thom or Atoms for Peace in concert, eventually seeing The Smild with my 31 year old son was extra special :)
I'd love it if they made an album that leaned heavier into Tom Skinner's awesome drumming, with electronic touches, that guy can lay an insane beat down.
@StanislavRastvorov thank you so much! I have a Samsung so I think I'll need to just try changing the settings a bit.. I was trying out their pro video mode recently but using 1080p and 30fps so maybe that's part of the problem! Thank you for replying.
@@grapegirl sounds good! I also try to have it as stable as possible, usually handling the phone in the right hand and holding that hand with the left hand so it won’t shake.
@StanislavRastvorov thank you! That's impressive and makes a lot of sense. I only managed one or 2 landscape videos before my arm started aching and they were super shaky. I didn't go to the ally pally gig sadly, but I think you were near me at the Eventim Apollo gig - I was 2nd row - behind the petite lady to the left of you. How did the Apollo gig compare with Ally Pally? Thanks again for the advice! Will you be seeing them again this yr?
@@grapegirl they both were great! But I think the sounds was a bit better in Ally Pally as venue itself is bigger, also Thom was in a great mood. Not sure yet about more concerts, I prefer solo ones and they’re mostly festivals as I see.
Does anyone think they'll play Glasto this year? I'm aware acts have been announced but still holding some hope! Seemed like they had a Glasto gap in their schedule......
I'm not the killer Don't get me started I'm not the villian Choose someone else You don't get to... Nothing is triggered Nothing is solid Don't pull me backwards No, you don't get to... And your force means nothing And your force means nothing And your force means nothing And your force means nothing And you don't get to... don't get me started You don't get to... You don't get to... You don't get to... You don't get to... And your force means nothing And your force means nothing And your force means nothing But you don't get to...
@@Labyrinth1010 All love and respect to the great and talented Phil, but he doesn't call the shots. If Thom and Johnny don't see the creative value in it then it doesn't happen, and they are fully invested in The Smile. It'll be great if I'm wrong, but I'm not holding my breath.
@@aperturius I get why you say that. Judging by past interviews, making Radiohead albums is a difficult thing for the members and I think for Thom, in particular. It’s clear that himself and Jonny are flourishing in the spontaneity of The Smile. But it doesn’t negate what Radiohead is, what they’ve achieved, and what they have yet to achieve. Those guys are family. They’re brothers. I think before long, they’ll reconvene. Of course, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Thom and Jonny are only interested in The Smile moving forward. But even writing that out doesn’t feel right. They’ll be back.
I still hold out some hope that there will be a coming together of Radiohead in the future but Thom and Jonny are on a creative roll with the smile and are clearly enjoying it. The lyrics of this song seem to be indicative of wanting to break free of the expectations of the past. That’s just one interpretation, does anyone else hear that? Thank you for uploading this beautiful song btw, it’s my absolute favourite and I wouldn’t have access to it otherwise.eternally grateful 🙏
