Yeah, I don’t think it was ever played live - a great Shane! That’s right, the instrumental elements of the song I think really match well to the haunting/disturbing subject matter

I’m not sure about this but apparently yeah when the song first came out, the families weren’t the best pleased with the song as they thought they were like mocking it. This then gave the album a bad reputation making it band in several record shops. They played this song once live in 1982 annoyingly no video of it. But yeah I think like you said out of respect they stoped playing it. Such an amazing song tho, I also think it’s the best.

It was played once at their first gig but no recording of the concert has ever surfaced.

Sounds somewhat like medicine bottle mixed with katy song.
