On episode #002 of Korda’s The Thinking Tackle Podcast, Damian Clarke told the story of how he caught ‘The Snake Pit Common’ in the early ’90s at a then record-breaking weight for a common carp at 45lb 12oz.
Since then, he has targetted and successfully captured some of the world’s largest carp. Consequently, he became the first British angler to catch three 80lb+ carp from three different lakes!
If you want to see more captures like this one from Damian, make sure you go and watch his full podcast episode on the link below.

That was an epic capture and this was what really pulled me in to carp fishing in a big way I was only 16 at the time.

Уважаемые ребята из компании Корда. Столько много фильмов интересных. По чему бы вам не делать текстовый перевод. Очень много вашей продукции у нас вашей компании. Но не кто не смотрит так как не понимаю. Думаю в наше время это не сложно сделать

Just a quick question,with all the news of the plight and decline of English rivers,with the rise in minx and otters being seen,dwindling fish numbers,how much does Korda put back into the sport?
@monkeybrains
@monkeybrains 3 года назад
They have the embryo fisheries. Not sure they're obliged to put anything back into the sport. Environment agency should be taking action against pollution and predation etc in my opinion. Isnt that what the rod license is supposed to be for.

@@monkeybrains clearly not anuff is being done to protect our rivers,im just starting the conversation looking for solutions,maybe if the big multimillion company’s put their hands in their pockets to protect the sport then maybe we will still have one in 5 to 10 years. At this rate we won’t have any river fishing at all.

@@RFT24 what’s the point in helping to stock the rivers if you can’t control the predation of otters? No point putting money into stock just for it to be otter food or for the fish to swim 20 miles up and the rivers
@RFT24

@@GG-ch1hm I fully agree,exactly they all need to need to put their heads together,they have the money to solve it.

Pretty sure Korda / Embryo / Fairbrass have spent hundreds of thousands on free otter fencing for fisheries and financing anti-predation campaigns and lobbyists, as well as multiple non predation related issues in fishing such as echo. Can’t see how a river / canal could ever be fenced and if the otters are as bad as you say they are then re-stocking isn’t an option either. If you have some ideas on how to help the predator situation I’m sure your efforts and comments would be much more useful on the Wildlife Trusts and the UK Wild Otter Trusts social media accounts or by showing some support for the Predation Action Group. Not sure how much there is to gain by commenting on a video about an unrelated topic.
