I have never commented on a RU-vid video despite being around lurking for over a decade-- thank you for this video! I've been seeking snake plant videos for months and they are horrendously few! Your plants are beautiful. Thanks so much for the great content and personality :)
The "Golden Honey" is gorgeous. I have never seen a "Francisii" snake plant and it is unique. I also have the "Whale Fin" and it has given me 2 offshoots. Thank you for the tour of your beautiful collection of Snake🐍Plants🌵= ❤
You are the first youtuber I see that says that snake plants shouldnt be too dry for too long because it causes root rot and thats absolutely correct! I water mine when the substrate is nearly completely dry and they thrive!
Ebuka, I absolutely love your snake plant collection also your enthusiasm. I feel that way about my collection. I have about 30 varieties. I have no one in my family and only one friend who shares my love for these plants. I never comment on youtube but felt compelled to write to you. I am glad that you debunked all the crap about these plants being able to live in low light and thrives on neglect. I water and fertilize my plants all year, even in winter. I live in Ontario, Canada. Right now I put a few of my snake plants outside in the hot sun during the day and take them back into the house in the evening. My plants thrives and pups like crazy. Cannot imagine not having them in my life. Keep up the love for your plants.
“How can you not like Snake Plants!” 😂 I have 16 species in my collection and many on my wish list. Your Sansevieria collection is gorgeous 😊 Thanks for sharing
Wow! I love your collection. ❤ your beautiful accent. I just found you on RU-vid, going to be watching the rest of your videos. And subscribe. Now I need more varieties
I collect San's and have two side by side racks I call The Sanseveria Kingdom my fav is the Sanseveria Boncel / Starfish. My Mother plant is HUGE she's like a weapon in a planter but absolutely stunning. Love you collection!
Okay, fine. I will go outside and start taking care of my sansevierias. I live in the southern United States and some of my snake plants (my Starfish mainly) refuse to grow and some I am pretty sure would take over the world if I put them in the ground. It seems I am going to have to start paying a bit more attention to my slow growers, particularly during the dry season. I am so glad I found your channel. I could listen to you talk about plants all day!
My bedroom has low light and is snake plant central! they're my favorite. You showed me so many varieties I haven't seen before here in Europe. I got a whale fin, zeylanica, and moonshine. Aren't they officially dracaena now? I'll still call them sansevieria nonetheless. :P I love that you have a lot of your native plants, it's also a goal of mine to get more native plants to my region.
My… I’m in the Netherlands and I’ve only ever seen the black-gold! It was hugely fashionable in the 1970’s and I’ve been a bit embarrassed for having it (🫣), but you are right: sanseveria’s are adorable plants! I loved the black dragon and the rosetty one especially. I almost want to leave the continent and visit Nigeria now… Thank you!
Another amazing video! Love all the energy and personality that you put into your videos. So fun and learned so much about snake plants. Now I need to buy myself some more! Haha! ;)
Your collection is just majestic, wow! I love sansevieria and I’m trying to expand my collection. Have you thought about propagating your Francisii? I have one and it’s long, not long as yours but I’ve been thinking of cutting it to propagate. Really enjoyed your video. Adios and God bless you!
Good morning thank you for Sharing beautiful sansevieria collections beautiful plants I am trying to collection the different ones also they are very hard to find where I live happy planting lovely collection have a wonderful day 🌹🌹😎😎🤩🤩
Just discovered you today, and I love it for me! May I ask if all the snake plant variants are equally air purifiers? Also, how do you care for the Sansieveria Samurai? I've got a teeny-weeny one, and regardless of how often I water it, it just keeps drying out. Plus the leaves constantly look scorched and shriveled.
The canary is so cool in its more mature form! We can buy little ones in the uk but the amount if yellow put me off 😂 Love the clustered, rosette type ones. The uk doesn't exactly get Nigerian sun, so I haven't seen any snake plants thriving like yours!
I'm growing sansevieria cylindrica from seed which takes forever. For the first few years the leaves were flat! Now the newest leaf finally is a skinny little cylinder. Do your sansevierias ever bloom?
hi brother do you know if I can save my pothos I got it as a gift and put it under the sun for few hours and it’s leaves turned black and droopy, i watered it and brought it inside but i don’t know if there’s hope it will look alive again 💔
Oh dear . It’s a very resilient plant and it will bounce back. Chop out all the burnt leaves and stems, place in full shade , water only when dry and it will grow back . All the best
🪴You have given me a new goal to strive for…more varieties of the snake plant genius. Thank you for making the necessary sacrifice to show us your collection. Your excitement has sparked me!🌱
Another comment 🫣 I have a var. sansevieria and it has four large fins and one little one on its way. I’ve also thought about selling one but it looks so beautiful full.
I just love your snake plants collection I have one original sansevieria but I plan on getting me a whale fin snake plant. I like the one you have and I like the big fin leaves. 🪴🌿🌵😊
