I have sooooo many questions 1. Can you heat it with a regular lighter and if so roughly how long does it take? 2. How long does it take with a single torch lighter to heat it up? 3. How long does it take to cool down enough to be cool enough to touch (and would "dry hitting" it help cool it down faster) 4. Does it turn super cool colors like the others once you've put flame to it? 5. Is there a dynastash big enough in diameter to house it? 6. And lastly, can you do half bowls with it like the original? (I want to use it for short personal sessions as well as pass it around)
I don't have one, but this is what I know. 1. Yes you can literally use any head source with a dynavap you could think of, as long as it gets hot enough. Example, electric stove top or a lense focused properly from the sun. 2. Depends on the power of your torch, they range widely... I suggest an eagle torch lighter, you want a small torch, but not tiny. Eagle torch is perfect. Takes like 30 to 45 seconds if you have no wind. I suggest the ispire wand overall honestly. 3. You want give it like 2 minutes after hitting it to cool down minimum. If you have a fan it'll cool down fast, dry hitting helps. Literally increasing any airflow around it helps it cool down faster. 4. Given that it's made out of titanium it will develop a patina when using a lighter as a main heat source. Using an induction heater will not develop a patina. 5. Yes, I've seen Simrell sells a package deal. Good deal honestly. 6. This isn't meant for half bowls, this was designed for large bowls for big hits for the people that feel 1 standard dynavap hit isn't enough. Can you do a half bowl? I'm sure yes, but that's not the purpose of this design or engineering.
so happy to know that ive purposefully burned my fingers on the regular tips so much to build immunity that I can actually decap a hyperdyn cap from its tip while its still hot and not get burned💪 takes a while, but is 100% worthwhile....

Tried this wand method several times pull it once it clicks and either nothing or charred. I’m assuming it’s my cap but if not this video didn’t help so good luck with the hyperdud.
I have a wand I bought about a year ago and it has a white silicone adapter plus glass cup. If I leave the silicone in but take the glass out the HyperDyn does not fit in. Is it ok to use it with no adapter? TIA. PS I have #406 and I LOVE it!!!!
Late response but I use my M without the adapter. I prefer it as it lets me have a bit more control about where it heats, it works perfectly fine without it, though you may need to hold it in place.
