We ALL know the disappointment in a design that didn't go as planned, but we know we made good soap. I always use TD even in complex swirls and the only thing I would have changed is the temperature. I used to soap warmer and sometimes had problems. When I started soaping around 90 F, it was a game changer. You still did a great job with this so KUDOS to you!!

Definitely a temp thing! I get so impatient waiting on my lye to cool down lol

I did the exact thing as you last night Tiawan Swirl fail lol. Yours still ended up being really pretty bars.

It would have been perfect if not for the white! Have you tried oil dispersible TD? I use Lisa's (I dream in soap) method for master batching oil dispersible TD and it has worked wonderfully for me. I get mine from Elements Bath and Body (who has fast shipping, btw) and it never accelerates trace. And I love making rainbow soaps (my daughter is gay), but they are not great sellers for me :(
