Its in the these interviews that we see the real growth in Wes Watson. No teleprompter, no notes to stay on verbal track. Wes back to flowing like the park bench days.
I really liked the part where Wes was talking about his life in the Penitentiary. Dreaming of meeting his son in a field was absolutely touching. Hearing other people's stroies IS really impactful. It takes balls. I'm working my way up to helping my family who have lived in poverty for generations. I want to end the cycle of abuse, recklessness and rage that have been handed down to me. Keep up the great content :)
Killing it Paulsen! Looking forward to catching up on your other episodes. This is my favorite one so far besides your talk with David Meltzer, since I've followed him forever. Great content my man!
Inconvenience factor . Not who you are when everything is a cake walk. Who you are in the storm. That's a bomb shell truth principle hits me dead center
Wes Watson paperwork facts: 1. He was sentenced to 9 years in prison, not 10 years as he has repeatedly claimed. 2. He served around 7 years in prison, most of the years in out-of-state prisons. Arrested in 2010, released in 2017. 3. He was sentenced for stealing a few pounds of marijuana and a few houndred bucks from a local drug dealer. Wes and another guy assaulted the drug dealer in a hotel-room before robbing him. 4. Wes was never a "Drug King Pin" before his arrest, as he has given the impression of. At the time of his arrest he was sleeping on the sofa in the apartment to Mr. og Mrs. Miller, a couple who was friends with his parents. Hardly the life of a self proclaimed millionaire. 5. He dry-snitched a former friend he did time with in two videos, revealing how his friend allegedly used drugs an wanted to kill co's with a tomahawk in prison. This led to his former friend getting several more years in his latest sentence in 2019.
Not that I know from experience no way do I claim to be on any level of that of Wes, But to the guy interviewing him or whoever edits these maybe at that point there were you just mentioned there’s pictures of Wes doing workouts and training people show clips do the cut scene clip a couple of them you know as they’re talking and then go right back to the main interview I think that would level this video up!!!
Appreciate the feedback, James. We are always looking to improve and want to incorporate clips to better explain the guest. Keep the feedback coming - we appreciate it
